Limitless - Chapter 59: The Teachings of the Crane Saint

When Chu Yu got news of the fatty, he was just about to begin his research into the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture.

When he saw the message, Chu Yu smiled and threw his phone aside, not bothering with it. Even though Fatty was up to no good, he was a clever man.

Chu Yu had known this from the start.

He knew clearly that Fatty would tie up all the loose ends nicely.

Letting Fatty taking the rap gave him no stress. Furthermore, he believed that with Fatty’s wretched character, he definitely had a way to solve these issues.

Even though he did not know much about the Thief Sect, he could get a sense from the attitudes of the disciples of ancient clans, schools and sects.

All those influential people were generally condescending towards others, but yet they chose to avoid Fatty and keep a respectable distance.

This was sufficient to show that Fatty’s standing was not ordinary.

Even though they only spent a short time together, Chu Yu already had a good grasp on Fatty’s character.

Shameless, wretched, thick skinned!

The only way to deal with such people was to - not bother with him.

The room was extremely silent.

After Lord Thief returned, it disappeared. Its movement was mysterious, probably because it had found additional loot apart from the items it had stolen from the disciples of the big clans.

Chu Yu also could not be bothered to ask.

Afterwhich, Chu Yu retrieved the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture and took a deep breath to calm his heart.

He began to concentrate his energies in order to read what was written on the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture.

The words were not complicated, they were the words used in the ancient times, termed by their descendants as divine script. Chu Yu had learnt the divine script since young, thus, he had no problems reading the scripture.

However, what was written was slightly more tedious to understand.

Even though Chu Yu’s cultivation talent was high, he required some time and effort in order to fully understand the true meaning of the scripture.

This process was way more difficult than when modern era people read ancient script.

Even with all his energy, Chu Yu could only sustain reading about 500 words.

After about 500 words, he had insufficient energy to continue.

However, these 500 words, had already taken Chu Yu an entire night!

But the rewards reaped were great!

Even though he had only read 500 words, but after this night, Chu Yu had a rather deep understanding of the alchemist profession.

This was the difference between saints and ordinary teachers.

Ordinary teachers may require a year or two and countless words in order for their disciples to understand their teachings.

However, for saints, a simple 500 words would suffice.

The sun had rose outside, and Chu Yu was extremely tired, but his eyes sparkled with a glow of excitement!

In the span of one night, it was almost as if he had found a true road of cultivation.

Previously, he had never thought that the alchemist profession was such a strong and powerful one. This was despite the fact that the seniors had always said that the alchemist in the ancient era were extremely well respected.

Yet, Chu Yu had never really kept that in mind, and he had never had many interactions with this profession.

Only now did he understand why!

The alchemists in his clan, at their level... could only be known as refiners of medicine!

What they managed to refine, according to the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture, could not be termed as "pills", they only qualified as medicinal tablet.

Even though he had just been introduced to this profession, Chu Yu had the gained the legacy of a saint, allowing him to have a head start, and a clearer view of what’s to come.

Now that he thought about it, the things that the alchemists were refining back home, were disgracing the medicine!

Even the disciples of the Crane Saint would be angered to death if they saw it, not to mention the Crane Saint himself.

In order to refine pills, there were many factors to take note of. For the same type of medicine, if they come from a different date, they’ll have different medicinal properties. As such, the process of refining the pills would be vastly different.

There were many wisdoms contained within this profession and they were deep and complex. Even a genius would require time to find his way around.

In the 500 words of Crane Saint’s teachings that Chu Yu read, he could sense Crane Saint’s passion and proficiency in the craft.

He kept the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture and scrunched his eyebrows. He had a few surprising findings, and after using his energy through the night at such levels, his power had increased by a few more points

"There’s such a benefit?" Chu Yu smiled, this was really an unexpected benefit.

Afterwhich, he stood up, went for a shower and returned to his room to reflect on the cryptic messages embedded within the 500 words of the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture.

Chu Yu continued doing this for three days straight, never once leaving the house!

Yet at this point, news about him had started to spread, as did news of the incident at the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave.

"I didn’t expect that the uncultivable young master of the Chu Clan would have such a mysterious and powerful senior. I heard that that man is very powerful, and he got the legacies from the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave.

"Chu Yu clearly cannot cultivate, how could he have a senior? Which ancient legacy is his school following?"

"All the disciples from the ancient schools, clans and sects have expressed that the Song fella is very strong. Apparently, the death of the heir to the Truth Ancient Sect clan, Qiu Tianxue, is linked to him."

"Didn’t they say that he was killed by the heir to the Thief Sect, Fan Jian?"

"It is difficult to be certain, anyways, I didn’t expect that there would be an ancient clan willing to take Chu Yu in..."

"After Xie Tianyu died, I said that this matter definitely had links to Chu Yu, and the truth has revealed that I was right. Even though the person who killed Xie Tianyu was the heir to the Thief Sect, Fan Jian, he definitely did that because of Chu Yu!"

"I heard that the Thief Sect was a superior sect in the ancient era, and they would... eat the Xie Clan for breakfast."

On the internet, many rumours started and it was impossible to differentiate fact from fiction.

Chu Yu, who had been flying under the radar for the longest time, resurfaced in people’s view.

The last time was due to the scandal between him and Lin Shimeng.

However, this time, it was slightly different. Many people who knew Chu Yu, for the first time, did not tag the words "wasted" or "ruined" with him

If the Song fella from the incident at the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave was really Chu Yu’s senior, then Chu Yu definitely was not a wasted individual!

This was because no ancient legacy would take in a genuinely useless individual.

Chu Yu looked at the rumors and smiled, then he used his service provider to register an account for Song Hong.

Then he posted a paragraph on China’s biggest social networking site.

"Do not look at a real talent with condescending eyes. Chu Yu is my junior, whoever dares to find trouble with him, I would not mind going to have a heart to heart talk with him. If anyone wants to shamelessly call upon your clan elders, very well, I have some too. We can all go head to head and see who has more to lose."

After posting that piece of rubbish, he sent Fatty a message, then switched off his messenger and continued to study his Immortal Sparrow Pill Scripture. Chu Yu’s statement did not trigger any reaction at first.

There were all kinds of names on social media, and it is impossible to differentiate the genuine from the fake. Since many decades ago, there have been many cases of impersonators on the web.

As soon as there were any breaking news, the person’s brothers, grandfather, neighbors, aunty, dog... everyone will appear. In the age of information, people have become numb to such information.

However, after Fan Jian, who was trending on social media, shared the statement from "Song Hong", things changed.

When Fatty shared it, he added another sentence, "Whatever my big brother has said, is what I wanted to say. Also, there has been big news recently, please stay tuned..."

After Fatty shared the news he went silent, but the internet exploded.

Many of the commoners joined in the conversation. This was the first time they managed to feel the underworld clans and ancient factions so close to themselves.

The incident at the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave quickly became a national sensation.

More and more things became exposed.

In the end, even the fact that the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave was the residence of the ancient Crane Saint was revealed.

Only then did people realize that Song Hong and Fan Jian could have gotten the legacy of a Pill King!

That would mean that Chu Yu... could very well have gotten a copy of this legacy!

The eyes of countless people were directed to the Dragon City in China’s Northern territories.

Even Fatty’s master, the wretched old man, called Fatty when he saw the news.

"Master, it’s not that I’m not telling you the truth, but this incident has been blown up... it’s difficult to explain?"

"What? No no no, it has nothing to do with him, he saved my life. I can be a shameless jerk, and I can be thick skinned and wretched, but I can’t be someone who harms a person who has helped me."

"It’s true, disciple swears! It’s true! Master, I swear on my p*nis... if I’m lying, my p*nis shall never be able to harden!"

Fatty swore and cursed himself, and he really did dare to swear about this. Indeed, Chu Yu didn’t kill him, and in a certain way, he saved his life.

"Furthermore, the Crane Saint’s legacy is just an idea, the spirit searching technique that we are after has been long lost. Even if it isn’t lost, there is no one here who can use it..."

"How would I have known, I thought it was an ancient classic."

"Mm, Song Hong has a great sense of justice, and he is very particular!" As Fatty spoke, he pat his chest, feeling that his ability to bullsh*t had increased greatly.

He was almost perfect!

"Yes, correct correct correct, just like that, I have made another friend like that, another person who can help me defeat a powerful enemy."

"Master you’re indeed wise, I will definitely find an opportunity to make him my sworn brother! Mm mm, okay, okay, that’ll be all then... I shall hang up now!"

Fatty put down the phone, his face bitter as he thought to himself, why would I find additional trouble for myself?

That jerk b*stard had left me in the lurch, isolating himself to study the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture. Not only do I have to take all the rap, I still have to help him fend off all the repercussions.

What horrendous things have I done in my previous life? Did I kill his whole family?

Mm, that must have been it!

Damn it, I shall only do good deeds from now on!

Yes, good deeds!

F*ck his grandmother... I am a bad guy, this is too difficult!

Fatty was unbelievably conflicted, and he was so frustrated it seemed that he gained another few catties as a result.
Limitless

Limitless - Chapter 58: Thief Sect

With today’s rapid speed of internet, the matters in Celestial Fox Immortal Cave did not even take half a day to go online.

Thereafter, in a short time, it immediately became a viral trend, sweeping through the Internet!

Actually in normal situations, this should not have happened.

Every circle had to adhere by their circle’s rules.

Especially, underworld clans were not even in the eyes of ancient schools, sects and clans. These ancient factions would be too disdainful to discuss about underworld clans over the commoner’s Internet.

At the most, they would secretly focus their attention; they wouldn’t even have the face to mention about such matters to other. Otherwise, they would look very LOW.

But this incident was too unique.

A group of young Heaven’s Prides with high statuses met with a disastrous defeat in the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave; a few of them had even died. This included the Qing Hai Wu Clan disciple, Wu Dong, as well as the extremely powerful Qiu Tianxue of the Truth Ancient Sect.

If they died within the ancient ruins, then things would have been simple. However, the key problem was, these young men with loft statuses, were clearly killed!

For the group of people who managed to escape with their lifes, they had a deep seeded hatred for Song Hong and Fan Jian.

And there was still that Lord Thief!

They just wanted to cripple these b*stards and destroy their bones!

Thus, they couldn’t be bothered about the rules of their inner circle. At the first moment their emerged, they immediately sent this news exploding on the Internet.

Thereafter… Most of the firepower seemed to be concentrated on Fan Jian.

The reason was simple. Towards the end, Fan Jian had treated them with extreme arrogances and disgust. On the other hand, Song Hong was too mysterious. No one knew his origins, they only knew that he was Chu Yu’s senior.

Towards such an enigmatic and mysterious figure, they really couldn’t gather any firepower.

As for Lord Thief… These f*cking idiots could actually get scammed by a bird. That matter was too disgraceful to be disclosed.

This Fatty had unfortunately become the biggest target.

All these dirty water had been splashed onto this Thief Clan heir.

This time, even if he didn’t want to carry this blame, he couldn’t avoid it.

In a secretive and remote location, Fatty was holding his mobile phone with a frantic look on his face.

"Thief Clan Heir Fan Jian, killed Qing Hai Wu Clan disciple Wu Dong in the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave. Accounts say that Wu Dong had died very miserably!"

"Witnesses have confirmed that Thief Clan Heir Fan Jian had killed Truth Heir Qiu Tianxue in the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave. This was witnessed by many people; Qiu Tianxue’s body had been decapitated."

"Accounts have confirmed, Thief Clan Heir Fan Jian had obtained the legacy from within the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave. According to the signs, the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave was once the residence of an ancient medical saint…"

"According to a personal report, Thief Clan Heir Fan Jian had killed…"

"Reliable news: Thief Clan Heir Fan Jian had always been concealing his power. His actual power is already at least in Invigorated Meridian Stage Seven…"

Fatty looked at the news pasted throughout the Internet, his entire body was about to explode. He uttered an aggrieved roar, "What f*cking sh*t is this ah? From the start to the end, this old man had almost died, and I only got some mass-produced weapon from it…. Bloody hell, you can’t play like this ah!"

He was really about to have a nervous breakdown. Even though he had already prepared himself mentally, he would never have expected that things would escalate to such a degree.

He seemed to have become public enemy number one…

On one hand, the news pointed him as the killer of many disciples from the ancient schools, sects and clans.

On the other hand (a more damnable hand), most of the news were saying that he obtained the legacy from the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave!

"If this old man really obtained the legacy, then it would be great! But the problem is… I’m f*cking framed ah!"

Fatty’s entire body seemed to be trembling.

Soon, his phone started to ring. He saw the caller ID and his hand started to shiver, he almost dropped his phone.

His phone rang for half a day. Bracing himself, Fatty answered the phone.

"Kid, you’ve really become good ah. You actually killed so many disciples from those ancient factions, hahahaha, your behaviour isn’t like the Thief Clan Heir, it’s more like a sect destroyer."

"Master… I…." Fatty’s teetch started to clatter violently.

"It’s fine that you’ve killed them. Our Thief Clan had been hiding in the shadows for too long, many people have already forgotten about our might. Good disciple, show them a bit of impressiveness. Master will silently support you from the back!"

"Master, but…"

"There’s no need for ‘but’s. And how’s the saint’s legacy? Hahahaha, it’s not suitable for you ah? If it’s really not suitable, then you can bring it back. Now that the world had been revitalised, a saint’s legacy, and Crane Saint’s one at that, would definitely be invaluable. Kid, you better not get too greedy, I will give you what you deserve, but you must not be ungrateful ah!"

"Master… I didn’t even get that legacy!" Fatty wailed at the phone, finally having a chance to talk.

The phone went silent, then the voice on the phone turned solemn.

"Little b*stard, I don’t care if you scam other old men, but if you dare betray the sect…. You should know the consequences! From ancient times to now, the number of disciples who betray our Thief Sect are few. But all the betrayers, and what happened to them, have been told to you countless times since you were young!"

"Master, I really didn’t get it, I… was framed ah!" Fatty wanted to cry but no tears could come out.

"What happened?" On the phone, Fatty’s master, an old man with a wretched appearance, now had a sombre expression on his face.

He had seen Fan Jian grow up; he knew that this little b*stard wasn’t anything good, but this little kid would dare lie to him.

Just now, when their Thief Sect received this news, they were all incomparably excited.

Killing a few disciples from ancient factions, to them, did not mean anything much.

To this date, many people think that the Thief Sect was filled with unscrupulous people who only knew how to commit petty crime and raid graves.

But in reality, the real Thief Sect, was far more terrifying than they could imagine!

In ancient times, the murders committed by the Thief Sect, could match actual assassin guilds!

The people of the Thief Sect were of wide variety, and the Thief Sect had produced many importnat figures that could stun the world!

However, many of them had an alternative persona. From the start to the end, no one knew that they were actually disciples of the Thief Sect!

Today, the Thief Sect had declined slightly, but the foundations were still there. The current generation of leaders had wholeheartedly been trying to regain the glory that the Thief Sect had during the ancient times. Thus, when they saw the news, they were all so excited, they almost went mad.

On the surface, they were scolding Fan Jian as a selfish little b*stard who actually explored a saint’s ruins by himself. But in their hearts, they were filled with pride.

Whether it was an ancient school, or an ancient sect, or even an underworld clan, all these factions which had existed since ancient times had an intense sect perception.

Once you entered the sect, you’ll be loyal to the death!

Betrayers, were the most hated people.

This was an age old belief!

Perhaps in the eyes of the modern commoners, this belief was outdated and fallen; they would think that people were free to do anything they want… However, in eyes of these factions, this belief still held true!

Thus, when Fatty had obtained all the benefits, the people in his sect had appeared jealous, but they were actually incredibly excited for Fatty!

Fan Jian, at this point, cried as he lied to his master. He did not dare say that a portion of his soul had been taken away. If he did say that, his master would definitely have gone mad.

His master would rather have sacrificed him, and not let Chu Yu off.

Fatty didn’t want to die yet, so he told his master that in the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave, he did obtain a tiny opportunity, which allowed his level to increase to Invigorated Meridian Stage Seven.

That had incited the jealousy of those b*stards who didn’t obtain anything, so he had been viciously framed.

As for Wu Dong, Qiu Tianxue and the rest, they had been killed by other people but it’s difficult for him to deny it.

"I beg master to help me ah, they’re jealous of your disciple, and the look down on disciple’s origins as they constantly derided your disciple. In your disciple’s rage, he taught those few people a lesson. Eventually, they all splashed their dirty water all over your disciple, wuuuu…."

To make things more realistic, Fatty even forced out a few tears and his voice started to choke.

When Fan Jian’s master, a wretched looking old man, heard Fatty’s words, he was first enraged, but towards the end, he could not help but chuckle.

"Little b*stard, why are you crying? Let this old man ask you, are those group of b*tches able to catch you?"

Fatty grabbed his phone and cried, "Of course not! There’s no need to talk about that group of little sh*ts, even if a group of Xiantian cultivators come, they still have to forget about finding me!"

"So impressive? If they can’t catch you, then so what if they hate you?"

The wretched old man laughed, "Good disciple, to help spread the name of our Thief Sect, you have made this sacrifice. Be good, don’t be scared ah. Wait till master makes a break through and enter the King’s Realm, then there’s no need to be afraid ot them. Wait for master to help avenge you!"

"Master… This is placing a huge pressure on disciple ah!" Fatty cried out in injustice.

"Be quiet la, it’s okay. Anyway, aren’t you used to hiding and sneaking around? If those people have splashed dirty water over you, then why don’t you create a ruckus for them to see! Force their ancestors out to enjoy the sun!"

If Chu Yu could here these words, he would instantly understand where Fatty’s shamelessness had come from.

"Master…"

"Alright alright, I still have something on. After this, you should go probe around, who was the one who obtained Crane Saint’s legacy? We can’t let that b*stard get off scot-free!"

As the wretched old man spoke, he gave his disciple a few additional words of consolation before hanging off the phone.

Fatty exhaled deeply and wiped the cold sweat off his forehead, thinking: At least that’s over.

That group of old fogeys in the Thief Sect were all lunatics. If they knew the truth, then things were going down for real.

Luckily, he had fooled them, so they were temporarily safe.

Forget it, I’ll just take this blame. However, I have to let that despicable b*stard Chu Yu know that this Lord had not betrayed him!

As Fatty thought of this, his two fat fingers moved like the wind, tapping a message of the phone.

Thereafter, Fatty took out some clothes, and with some adjustments, he had transformed into a different person.

Wearing a black framed spectacles, donning a western suit, and with a slightly slimmer body, Fatty looked like a refined gentleman. He was even holding on to a briefcase.

He even managed to find an ordinary car out of nowhere. From the looks of it, he was no different from the working class man in the commoner’s world.

Even though he wasn’t able to flawlessly change his face like Chu Yu, there were few in this world that could see through his disguise!

The heir of the Thief Clan was truly not short of methods.

It was only because of bad luck which landed him in Chu Yu’s hands.

In the next instant, Fatty started started the car, and drove into an expressway.

On the car, he even made a call.

"Boss Wang, ya it’s me. Haha, things have been going well. Sign the contract next week! Pay Raise? Hahaha, thanks Boss Wang… Being able to work for Boss Wang is my Xiao Fan’s honour ah…"
Limitless

Limitless - Chapter 57: It’s So Good To Have A Big Brother!

Seeing as the figures of this group of people disappeared swiftly from the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave, Fatty had a sullen expression as he stared at Chu Yu, "Lord, was that alright?"

"So-so." Chu Yu nodded.

"..."

If not for his fear, Fatty would have directly slapped Chu yu to death.

However, he could be considered to have seen Chu Yu’s power.

It was f*cking horrifying!

Firstly, it was his sense of perception. For the moment, his sense of perception was astounding by itself. But, he was also able to avoid all the danger areas in the ancient ruins, this sort of prophetic ability was simply able to sent people into doubt and shock.

Secondly, it was his terrifying combat power. With his power at the Acupoint Charging Realm, he was able to violently defeat an expert at Invigorated Meridian Stage Level 4, and he wasn’t even injured in the exchange? This was simply too abnormal!

It was not as if Fatty had never met those freaky heirs from the ancient schools, but the problem was, this person was Chu Yu ah!

He was merely a disciple from a small underworld clan, exactly what sort of fate would did he obtain?

Finally, what complete compelled Fatty into disbelief was that just now… in that instant, Chu Yu helped open his 7th meridian! It was the gallbladder meridian of the 12 true meridians ah!

He had already opened it by half. With his talent, coupled with the cultivation resources that he had access to, he would need at least a year to open it.

However, in front of Chu Yu, he merely took a little over 10 minutes.

The instant his meridian was perforated, Fatty had a feeling, this person in front of him wasn’t a human being, but a god!

One must know that at the instant of his breakthrough, he was even suspecting that Chu Yu was trying to kill him…

Ths was the thing that left Fatty in utter disbelief!

After his gallbladder meridian was opened, a good half of his injuries healed rapidly.

Moreover, when his gallbladder was opened, he actually didn’t sustain any injuries!

Under normal conditions, opening meridians would be coupled with some injuries; these injuries required medicinal herbs and time in order to recover.

But this time, he actually didn’t suffer any injuries!

This was the reason why Fatty was willing to offend the entire world, and also become the scapegoat for all of Chu Yu’s actions!

Not only was this b*stard amazing, he even possessed such god-like methods!

If he wasn’t controlled by Chu Yu, he might have harboured some thoughts of killing Chu Yu to obtain his secrets. But now, he only hoped to see Chu Yu become even stronger!

Because he had this faint premonition, if he could always follow this b*stard, his future… would be incomparably brighter!

Even though the facts were like so, when he deserved to cry, he still had to cry.

Babies who cry would get fed with milk; the world had always been like this.

"I have just offended many people. I believe that within a short time, all these news will be delivered. By the time, there would definitely be many people who wish to kill me." Fatty stared at Chu Yu with an aggrieved expression. "As the boss, shouldn’t you… give me something to protect myself?"

"That does seem logical…"

After some thought, Chu Yu fetched an ancient bronze sword from his storage ring. A pained expression could be seen on his face as he said, "A Xiantian grade magic treasure… Since you’re now my little brother, I guess I will bear this pain and give this to you."

Xiantian grade?

Magic treasure?

And you have you bear the pain?

I now believe how wicked you are!

In his heart, Fatty was cursing his mother: Wasn’t this just plain bullying? Isn’t this just a a mass-produced training weapon for disciples during the ancient times?

Even though it had survived the ages, it was not preserved well. This little thing… really couldn’t be considered anything good. To even call it a magic treasure… More like a mgic treasure for kids ah!

The Immortal Crane Furnace is the real magic treasure, ok?

Or the Spirit Stunning Bow is fine too!

"Why? You don’t want it?" Chu Yu promptly thought of keeping his ancient bronze sword. He really intended to not give it!

Fatty moved quickly, accepting the bronze sword as he snickered, "Thanks Boss…"

Better than nothing!

Regardless, a Xiantian grade magical equipment is still considered not bad in the commoner’s world.

At least it could be sold for some pocket money!

"Then in the future…" Fatty stared reluctantly at Chu Yu; he knew that this b*stard was definitely itching to go back and research on the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture.

If it was possible, he would like to follow Chu Yu. Even though he was taking all his sh*t, this fella’s methods were heaven defying. Perhaps, if this fella ever had a mood swing and decided to be happy, this fella might help him raise his level to Invigorated Meridian Stage Eight.

"In the future, if there’s nothing urgent, don’t contact me. Pass me the means of contacting you. If I need anything, I will find you." Chu Yu glanced at Fatty; of course he knew what was on Fatty’s mind.

It was just that helping him to reach Invigorated Meridian Stage Seven, was already the max that Chu Yu could go. Even though he was raher strong, he could not continuously help and support Fan Jian to raise his level.

Moreover, for a b*stard like Fatty, he couldn’t constantly offer benefits. He needed to be economical with his carrots.

Thereafter Chu Yu parted with Fatty. Together with Lord Thief, they traversed the forest and headed back to Dragon City.

Half a day later, Chu Yu had already appeared in his private hospital room.

Chu Tianxiong had already received the news and immediately rushed over.

Seeing Chu Yu, Chu Tianxiong revealed an gleeful smile on his face. He had already requested for permission from the clan to temporarily remain here to help Chu Yu get accustomed with the matters before returning.

To this sort of exemplary act, the internal department of the Chu Clan were incredibly satisfied. They quickly agreed with Chu Tianxiong’s request.

"I have already arranged for the matter," Chu Tianxiong said. "With me taking command personally, you can rest assured. Nothing will go wrong."

"I’ve troubled you Uncle Xiong. Soon, we won’t need to continue to conceal anything," Chu Yu said.

Chu Tianxiong’s eyes sparkled, he stared at Chu Yu, "Could it be… you’ve obtained some huge gains?"

He continued, "Previously those clans from Dragon City were supposedly banished from the Immortal Cave. I was a little worried…"

Chu Yu laughed, "When I was in the Celestial Fox Immortal Cave, I obtained an impressive legacy. It was actually the immortal estate of a Pill King!"

"Heavens…" Chu Tianxiong widened as he stared at Chu Yu in disbelief. His voice started to trembled, "Is… is this true?"

Chu Yu nodded.

"That’s great! That’s really great!" Chu Tianxiong clenched his fists, pacing around the room, myttering to himself, "Now, we can perfectly cover your method of helping people advance their level… And, Pill King… that’s a medical saint ah!"

"The legacy of a medical saint… In ancient times, alchemists were people that no one would dare to offend, much less a Pill King. My god… If you truly cultivate in this legacy and achieve great accomplishments in it, then wouldn’t you…"

As he spoke, Chu Tianxiong’s face was bursting with emotion.

Being able to obtain the legacy of a saint, meant that Chu Yu’s future… was bright and limitless!

"The Heavens have blessed the Chu Clan. Will my Chu Clan… finally develop an important figure?" Chu Tianxiong was so emotional, it seemed like he was about to cry.

"Regarding this matter, we will still need to temporarily keep it under wraps. As for the clan, I will soon be taking some time to pay a visit," Chu Yu said.

"I understand, I understand! You can rest assured, with me here, you won’t have to worry about anything!" Chu Tianxiong said repearedly.

Thereafter, Chu Tianxiong bade his farewells in high spirits with many emotions on his face.

Chu Yu did not stay in the hospital for long. Together with Lord Thief, he returned to his villa.

The villa had long been installed with magical formations. After returning to the villa, Chu Yu did not immediately delve into the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture, but first gave a call to his mother.

"Mum, it’s me," Chu Yu said softly.

"Stinky brat, you finally remembered that you have a mother? Just because you found a wife, you forgot that you have a mother?"

Across the phone was a gentle female voice, it was slightly tinged with a mocking tone.

"You heard?" Chu Yu laughed, a joyful expression appeared on his face."

"It’s alread buzzing over the internet. But son, what’s the truth behind this matter?" Across the phone, Song Yu asked curiously.

"At first, it wasn’t true. But now, it’s true."

"En, not bad not bad. Shi Shi is a good girl, it’s just that…"

"Mum, I’ve recovered!" Chu Yu said softly.

"It’s good that you’ve recovered, recovered… Eh? What? What did you say? Can you say it one time?" At the start, Song Yu didn’t properly react to those words, but in the blink of an eye, she immediately reacted. She could not help but raise her volume and even her voice started to tremble slightly.

"Mum, over these 10 years. I did not even lost my power. It was just that I wasn’t able to use them," Chu Yu expressed deliberately.

"The exact details are hard to explain. Wait till I have the time to go home, I will explain to you clearly. The important thing is, your son, is already in Acupoint Charging Stage Ten, and I’m even able to fight experts at Invigorated Meridian Stage Five or Six ah!"

There was only silenece across the phone. After some time, Song Yu spoke doubtfully, "Stinky brat, are you purposely lying to make Mum happy?"

These words were truly hard to believe.

"It’s true, mum. I now possess the legacies of two saints."

On the phone, Chu Yu finally revealed the truth to his mother, he described his current siuation.

Across the phone, Song Yu was shocked into silence. Finally, she could not help but shed some tears as she choked, "Well done, well done! I always knew, my son has always been the best!"

"Rest assured, I will soon return back to the clan. This matter, not only relates to me, but also relates to the rise of our entire clan!" Chu Yu said.

"Good son. You’ve always been a kind child, you’ve never forgotten the kindness the clan has shown to you. Good! But regarding this matter, you must be cautious. An innocent man gets into trouble because of his wealth…"

Knwoing that her son had fully recovered, and even possessed the legacies of saint, Song Yu was endlessly emotional. She could not help but worry for her son.

"Rest assured, mum. I will take care of myself. Moreover, your son is not easily bullied. You just need to see." Chu Yu laughed.

"Don’t be too frivolous with your ambitions. Safety should be the most important thing. Mum will always be proud of you." After some final words of encouragement, Song Ye hung up the phone.

A warm smile emerged on Chu Yu’s face.

Thereafter, Chu Yu made a call to Lin Shimeng.

The phone seemed to be undergoing its own hardcore cultivation.

After he obtained Crane Saint’s legacy, many things which he needed to conceal in the past could now be revealed.

At least, he no longer needed to hide these matters from his closest people.

With the Crane Saint’s legacy, it was natural that he could recover from being a trash.

What was a saint?

This was an existence that could traverse the ages, pluck stars from the sky and even overwhelm the universe - a peerless existence!

Thus, Chu Yu who held this saint’s legacy, it was perfectly normal that he could recover and cultivate!

As for how he was able to obtain the saint’s legacy?

Simple, Song Hong was his big brother ah.

Dual Sword God - Chapter 56: The Birth of the Red Haired Sword Fiend!

Darkness shrouded the world, as a pure dark natured essence energy enveloped the audiences field of vision. Looking carefully, two figures could be seen at the center of this darkness field, a youth with long red hair who stood in the Mantis Combat Stance and another who stood in the Crane Battle Stance.

"I must admit your essence energy is quite saturated, almost one step away from truly condensing wisps of aura. However..." Feng Yu said as he revolved his essence-energies within his body.

Bang!

The power of Peak 8 Tier Body Training Realm erupted causing a fiery storm to form around his entire being, shooting towards the sky. The energy was to such a scale that it burnt away the covering created by the dark essence power released from Sheng Bing. Soon, the golden square was filled with two areas one filled with red essence flame-like energies and the other half filled with dark energies.

The audience looked at the scene in shock, especially the local practitioners of Machen Town.

"8 Tier Body Training Realm!..." shouted an individual with shock as the practitioners surrounding looked at Feng Yu with reverence.

"How could this be?" both Huan Mang and Xiang Tian exclaimed in shock as they felt the power released from Feng Yu.

"Wasn't his coming of age ceremony roughly two months ago? How can he grow to such a scale so fast?" the Townlord asked in puzzlement as he looked at Feng Yu with surprise.

"To be able resists Bing Child's dark essence curtain with his essence energy an entire tier lower, such an incredible foundation!" exclaimed an elder from the DarkSky Pavilion.

Xun Yanshan, Xuan Lie, Xin Zhu, Tang Fei as well as many of the Major Characters looked at the battle platform with a sharp light in their eyes.

"Only the tip of the iceberg..." muttered the Mysterious Spear Youth as he looked on not missing any details.

Back on the battle square, Sheng Bing looked at Feng Yu resisting his dark energies in surprise. However, he quickly recalled his dark essence energy gathering all of it over his entire form looking like the dark lord from the realms of darkness.

"You are very good! Still, that was only a clash of essence power. Let's see how you block an actual Martial Skill!!" as Sheng Bing said this, all of the dark energies surrounding his body started to gather towards his side at his hand that was clenched into a fist.

He then looked at Feng Yu and leaped from the ground into the air transforming into a beam of black light instantly appearing a few meters above Feng Yu.

Sou!~

"Dark Crane Arts: First Style - Fist of the Darkness!!!" Sheng Bing roared as he unleashed a punch towards Feng Yu holding nothing back. In an instant, a dark fist shade appeared on his fist which expanded to about 10 meters completely eclipsing Feng Yu's field of vision towards the sky as it descended towards him with full momentum.

Feng Yu smiled as he saw this scene, quickly he revolved his <Lightning Flash Steps> turning into a streak of red lightning that shot to the sky, instantly appear before the descending fist shade and thrusting his palm towards the attack.

"Blazing Mantis Palm Arts: First Stance - Scorching Mantis Palm Strike!..." Feng shouted as his Palm glowed with a red hue as his fire essence-energies collected on its surface.

In but a moment, both individuals attack collided quickly creating a terrifying explosion of essence power.

KABOOMM!!!!!!!!

A wave of both dark and fire essence-energies rippled throughout the sky above the golden square platform, as two forms struggled with each other. One figure was struggling to descend from the air with his dark fist connected to a fiery red palm of another figure who seemed as if he was trying to reach his palm to the heavens.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

As they struggled their powers continued to generate ripples the caused a suffocating pressure to fall upon the weaker geniuses within the square. Quickly though, energies receded as both forms separated from each other.

The red-haired figure fell to the ground like a red meteor descending to the earth. However, with a sway of his body, he landed softly retaining the Mantis Battle Stance. The dark cape figure maneuvered himself falling to the ground with one leg on the floor and his other lifted up also maintaining his crane stance.

"Good powerful strength! Your mortal body's strength is astounding even being slightly above my own. I didn't think someone at the peak of 8 Tier could match my 9 Tier body in a head-on collision." said Sheng Bing as he looked at this fist that was shaking slightly.

"The world is a large place, there are many things you won't see unless you travel it yourself... "said Feng Yu with a calm look on his face.

Hearing this Sheng Beng frowned but soon replied: "Indeed you are right! The world is large, but I know I've certainly seen more than you, I hope for your sake this isn't your limits " as he said this his posture change slightly, as both of his arms were now lifted above his head with three fingers arranged to look like claws.

Feng Yu hearing this and seeing his opponent's new stance also changed his posture and spoke. "Come, you still have a long way to go if you want to earn the right to see my sword!" he stretched both his arms out wide as and leaned forwards slightly which crouching his legs.

"I hope you're ready! Dark Crane Steps!!..." Sheng Bing roared as he launched himself forwards once more towards Feng Yu's form.

Sou!

Like a beam of black light, quickly arrived in front of Feng Yu once again lifting both his arms and them swiping his crane like fingers towards Feng Yu's vital spots.

"Dark Crane Arts: Second Style - Claws of Dark Crane!!! " Sheng roared as his dark essence-energies loomed over his claw-like fingers on both hands, causing them to shimmer with a sharp light similar to that of blades. Swiftly, his hands began to move in a formless manner creating the illusion of many claws attacking Feng Yu's vital sports.

Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!

As if not feeling any threat before him Feng Yu stood calmly and looked at his opponent's assault with a smile on his face. Soon, time began to slow down as he started to move his hand in an elusive manner.

Woosh! Woosh! Woosh! Woosh!

"Blazing Mantis Palm Arts: Second Stance - Blurry Mantis Palms..." said Feng Yu who spoke softly, quickly, his palms blurred as they swiped across of the claw shades unleashed by Sheng Beng.

Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!

As if his palms were colliding with metal Feng Yu couldn't help but be slightly surprised at the hardness of Sheng Bing's palms.

"Such an interesting technique.." said Feng Yu as a look of curiosity shone in his eyes, he wanted to see how far this genius could push him when no using his sword.

Sheng Beng felt angry as he realized that Feng Yu was not going to be easy to deal with, quickly he back up appeared a few meters away with a flash of black light.

Feng Yu frowned as he held his position and returned to his Mantis Stance. "Is this your limit Sheng Bing?" said Feng Yu in a slightly disappointed tone.

Hui Ying who saw this scene laughed "Ha Ha! Brother Yu is really vicious! Playing around with Sheng Bing like that why does he not quickly finish the battle?" he said while observing.

"I think Young Master seeks to test the limits of his normal strength against top-class talents," replied Dai Lin who was also observing with interest.

"Heh! Then that would mean one an extreme minority hear would actually be capable of making him draw his sword," replied Hui Ying with a vague battle lust in his eyes.

"Em," said Dai Lin with a similar gaze.

The Mysterious Spear Youth, Bamboo Hat Youth and Souther Wasteland Youth slightly gripped their fists in excitement.

"This brat is not bad by the outer continent standards such a pity his first opponent is Yu Child!" said Feng Junling as Feng Yunlong and Feng Xingyu nodded while laughing.

"It's a given, while he does not have the battle techniques our clan used to have for his level, he's already found his own path, though it doesn't seem that this level of talent will be enough for him to use it," said Feng Yunlong.

The DarkSky Pavilion elders were shocked as 'dark' expression came over their faces

As he saw Sheng Bing remained at the distance of a few meters Feng Yu couldn't help but feel disappointed. Quickly he started to revolve his essence-energies as he spoke.

"Such a pity, well then I guess it's my turn to be in the lead. I'll be using one last palm technique, if you can survive this blow then you'll have earned yourself the right to see one of my swords!" said Feng Yu as he lifted his right hand to his side.

Blaze!

Quickly, a fiery essence light erupted over his palm creating a heatwave within the five-meter radius of Feng Yu.

Sensing the danger from the Palm Technique a feeling deep crisis came over Sheng Bing. "Damn! How could he be this strong? What kind of Palm Technique is this?" he shouted in his mind as he resolved himself quickly to gather more power for his final attack.

"I'm not finished yet! I'll show you the limits of the DarkSky!!!!" Sheng Bing roared as his eyes lost focus in his state of desperation. A powerful dark essence energy soon erupted from his body creating an image of a crane above his form only this image carried with it a strange fluctuation of energies.

The people observing exclaimed.

"Aura fluctuation! Did Sheng Bing managed to condense a few wisps of aura in his desperation!" the elder from the Dark Sky Pavilion exclaimed as he looked at Sheng Bing with excitement.

Bang!

A vague suppression soon fell on Feng Yu's body which disrupted his 'Blazing Mantis Palm Strike' causing it to become unstable. Seeing this Feng Yu smiled as he abruptly ended his attack.

"Oh! You seemed to have reached the turning point between Body Training Realm and Aura Disciple Realm. Good! As a sign of my respect towards your success, I will show you one of my swords..." said Feng Yu as he changed his stance and placed his one had on the hilt of Black-Lightning that was one is back.

Clank!

As he saw Feng Yu gripping his sword, Sheng Bing did not feel any danger, as he was enjoying the feeling brought about by his condensed wisps of aura. He looked at Feng Yu with a new found confidence as he raised his fists once more towards Feng Yu.

"Prepare yourself! " as he said this all of the terrifying energies and condensed aura collected together in his fists, as he bent his body backward forming an arc with his fists held behind him.

"Good! Show me your strongest strength!" shouted Feng Yu as he collected a bit of essence energy and poured it into his sword.

"Die!!!! Dark Crane Arts: Third Style - Descending Dark Claw!!!!!" as Sheng Bing roared he moved his body appearing like an arrow shot from its bow, punching his fist towards Feng Yu. Quickly, his energies erupted forth creating a massive Dark Crane Claw that instantly arrived in front of Feng Yu leaving no way out.

Feeling the power behind this attack, many in the audience felt fear.

"Kya!! he's going to die!!" said a soft-hearted 8 Tier female practitioner.

Tang Wu, Xing Qing and their others who felt the power of this attack frowned as a solemn look appeared on their faces.

"This is an attack that would cause even me to use more than half of my strength to resist it, for his sake I hope that his Sword Techniques are as good as he portrays or he's bound to die a tragic death!" said Tang Wu with a serious look on his face.

As many of the influences were pondering whether or not Feng Yu could survive this technique, only a few individuals remained silent and indifferent. One being those of the Feng Clan, another being those of Dawnwig with Hui Ying and the others being the Mysterious Spear Youth, Southern Wasteland Youth, and Bamboo Hat Youth.

As the attack arrived at Feng Yu, time seemed to have stopped as calm expression came on his face. Slowly, he unsheathed Black Lightning from the sheath and made a chopping motion towards the towering Dark Crane Claw that stood before him.

Shiinnnggg!!!!!!!

Quickly, time reverted to normal, as Feng Yu appeared behind the crane attack which continued to move towards the opposite direction. However, after a short moment, the attack then separated into two pieces which both exploded causing strong winds to blow that raised Feng Yu's hair as he slowly sheathed his sword.

Clank!

Finally, the sword was sheathed.

Feng Yu then looked silently at the figure of Sheng Bing who stood motionlessly in the arena with an empty look on his face. Quickly, Feng Yu turned around with his back facing Sheng Being as he spoke.

"I am Feng Yu, Feng Yu of the Feng Clan..." as he said this a light wind blew which soon followed by the sound of something being sliced opened.

Puchi! Puff!!!!

A rain of blood shot forth from the body of Sheng Being who then fell to the ground in a lifeless manner, however, a bit of breath could still be felt in his body.

Flash!

A flash of light occurred which quickly sent Feng Yu back to the square with Hui Ying and others as Sheng Bing was sent to DarkSky Pavilion due to the seriousness of his injuries.

"You bastard!!! You dare critically injure my DarkSky Pavilion's Disciple!!!" a terrifying aura of Peak True Foundation Realm erupted as a member of the DarkSky Pavilion saw Sheng Bing's condition.

Feng Yu looked at the man with an indifferent smile on his face.

"Hmph!" a snort resounded throughout the field instantly suppressing the Dark Sky Pavilion elders strength before speaking.

"This is the Chosen Wars! All rules must be obeyed! If you feel the need to settle your conflicts do that after the event has ended." said one of the men, who stood beside the white-robed woman.

"Damn! My DarkSky Pavilion will no let this matter rest! I will expect an answer from your Feng Clan the moment this Chosen War has ended!" said the elder as he looked towards the Feng Clan with hatred."

Xiang Tian seeing felt glee as he thought to himself "Ha Ha! Finally did something stupid, this foolish brat has only caused his family trouble. So what if you now have strength? It does not matter if you don't know how to use it with discretion. The strong eat the weak suppressing all who poses a threat, now I don't have to do anything to become the number one clan in Machen Town."

Feng Yunlong, Feng Junling, Feng Xingyu along with Elder Duan and Elder Chen with even the man in the Crimson Masked felt shocked as they listened to outburst from the Dark Sky Pavilion. However, after a short while, they no longer paid any attention to the words of DarkSky Pavilion.

"I can't believe that the Feng Clan kid won against Sheng Beng, he has such incredible strength. and his Sword Realm is unexpected so high... " said Xun Yanshan in surprise as he looked at Feng Yu.

Xuan Lie spoke softly "This brat has an incredible achievement on the sword understanding its fundamental nature, not even afraid to critically injure or kill anyone that crosses his swords path. If he doesn't die, he will certainly become a sword genius beyond even those hidden groups talents in the Golden Dragon Empire. " noveltranslationweb.blogspot.com

The local practitioners were stunned as they saw the bloody scene, some of them couldn't help but feel a tinge of fear when they saw the smile Feng Yu gave the elder that threatened him.

"He's like a demon... a demon of the sword..." said a random man.

"No.. " said a voice beside the man.

"If he's not a demon then what is he?" asked the man in anger after being retorted.

"He is a Fiend... a Red-Haired Sword Fiend..." said a familiar looking old man who sat in the center of the audience, appearing as if he was there and not there at the same time.

A man who heard this spoke, "Red Haired Sword Feind! A good name, truly a name befitting this brutal swordsman."

Quickly, the name began to spread amongst the crowd soon reaching Feng Yu's ears he smiled spoke "A fiend they say, Haha! Then, a fiend I will become..." he said as a ruthlessly sharp light shone in his eyes as he looked at the elder from the DarkSky Pavilion.

"I only critically wounded your disciple leaving him with a breath of life out of respect, but you dare to threaten my family over this. Good! I'll make sure to visit your pavilion in the future..." as he said this his voice quickly faded into the wind as the battles continued all the way to the darkness of the night.
Dual Sword God

Library of Heaven's Path - Chapter 29: You Must Be Sick!

“Un?”

Shen Bi Ru, who was the Compendium Pavilion as well, heard the continuous sounds of footsteps and flipping of books. Initially, she didn’t think much into but as time passed, she started to feel that something was amiss with the situation.

One would need to read a book slowly to comprehend its contents. How could it be possible for anyone to flip through it so quickly?

Bewildered, she couldn’t resist walking over to take a look.

After which, she saw Zhang Xuan flipping the books from the first shelf. It was very apparent to see that he wasn’t reading through the contents of the books, but more like looking for something!

“Is this the reason why Elder Mo denied him entry?”

After watching for a moment, she realized that the other party didn’t have the intention to stop. Gedeng, Shen Bi Ru’s heart beat.

Previously, the reason why she couldn’t resist speaking out to help him upon seeing the difference between the current him and his previous self was because she wanted him to work hard so as to be freed from his current awkward position.

However, she would have never imagined that this fellow wasn’t here to study but to look for something!

This was the Compendium Pavilion. Every day, there were innumerable teachers who come in, so it was impossible for there to be anything valuable hidden here. Flipping through these books so casually was almost a blasphemy to this Compendium Pavilion.

How repulsive!

“Perhaps… He knew that I would be coming to the Compendium Pavilion today, so he intentionally waited outside then came in to make such a ruckus to capture my attention… Hmph, this would only provoke my ire!”

The image of the young man in Shen Bi Ru’s heart fell to the pits.

Due to her beauty, many people have tried many ways to get on her good side, as well as to attract her attention. In her opinion, Zhang Xuan wasn’t even trying to look through the books. Rather, he was intentionally making those noises to change her opinion of him.

In reality, she hated it when people made up this kind of show.

After looking at her a moment longer, she ascertained her opinion.

If he was truly here to browse through the books, how could he possibly be reading books of all genres? Furthermore, to be flipping through them at such rapid speed, he was probably unable to even ascertain the name of the manual, needless to say, its contents.

“Hmph!”

With a darkened expression on her beautiful face, she walked over to Zhang Xuan, “Zhang laoshi, what are you doing?”

“Reading books!”

Zhang Xuan didn’t realize that his actions have already been labeled as ‘putting up a show’ and replied casually without raising his head.

“Reading books? Hmph!” Shen Bi Ru harrumphed coldly. Coldness emanated from her jade-like face as she said, “If you think that your actions are cool and would attract my attention, please retract those immature thoughts of yours. I, Shen Bi Ru, do not fall for such petty tricks. Furthermore, your actions will only incur my irritation!”

“Oh! Alright!”

Zhang Xuan continued flipping through his books.

He intended to imprint all of the manuals in the Compendium Pavilion onto the Library of Heaven’s Path by today and time was a little tight for him, so he didn’t have the effort to spare to be chatting with others.

Besides, in his opinion, the other party was simply being too ‘self-important’. What business did she have to do with what he was doing?

[You might be truly pretty, but it isn’t like I have yet to meet a beautiful woman like you. In the previous world, in the era of information, there are all kinds of beauties stored in the hard disk. Furthermore, they are skilled in blowing, pulling, playing and singing… A cold beauty like you does not hold much interest to me!

I don’t have the energy to think of ways to attract your attention.]

“Since you understand it, please leave this Compendium Library. Stop wasting your effort here!” Seeing how the young man’s head remained lowered, still putting on a show, Shen Bi Ru turned and gestured him to leave.

Deng deng deng deng!

The sound of the footsteps of the young man leaving.

“This is more like it…”

Seeing how he gave up readily, Shen Bi Ru nodded her head in satisfaction. Just as she was about to continue to read her book, she heard the sound of the flipping of books echoing in the library once again.

Hualala! Hualalala!

Turning her head to take a look, she realized that the young man had no intention to leave.

“You…”

Shen Bi Ru almost exploded from anger.

[Are you done yet?

I have already said that doing this will just incur my irritation, yet you still persist in doing so. Is there a point to it?]

At this point, her slim figure straightened and she walked up to Zhang Xuan once again, and disgust could be clearly seen in her pitch black pupils, “Did you not hear my words? The more you behave like this, the more disgusted I would be with you! You won’t earn my fancy like this!”

“Are you sick?”

Seeing the other party coming over to bother him again, Zhang Xuan was a little irritated. He stopped his actions and said, “You read your own stuff while I’ll read my own. If you are really bored, you can squat by a corner and draw circles. Don’t bother me here!”

[It is not like I have never met a beautiful lady in my life before, why are you acting so haughtily!]

“You…”

She didn’t expect the young man to speak like this. Shen Bi Ru felt her sight blurring and she almost died from the overwhelming rage welling in her.

Who was she?

Hongtian Academy’s number 1 beauty. Blessed with great talent and looks, almost all of the teachers and students in the academy regarded her as a goddess. Before her, they would act respectfully, not daring to even speak loudly for fear of offending her.

[Yet, you dare to say… I am sick?

Even asking me to squat at a corner to draw circles?

I am a lady, alright? Draw circles, draw your mum’s fat head!]

Shen Bi Ru felt a heavy and stuffy sensation on her chest that she was unable to relieve.

Hualala! Hualalala!

Her face flushed red from anger. Just as she was about to reprimand the other party, she realized that the young man had gone back to flipping through the books after being done with his words, not even sparing her an additional glance.

“Fine, fine! Continue putting on an act! See how I will reveal your true colors!”

Luoluo, Shen Bi Ru gritted her teeth tightly and stomped her leg.

This was the first time that a man had talked to her in such a manner!

[Fine, aren’t you putting on an act of browsing through the books now? Let’s see how long you can put up with it. When you are finally unable to continue on, I will expose you and leave you embarrassed!]

Then, Shen Bi Ru no longer bothered herself with Zhang Xuan and instead, angrily walked back to the manual she had looked for previously and casually took it out. Then, sitting in a corner in the room, she started copying it down.

Initially, her mood was quite good today and she intended to study for quite awhile to boost her knowledge. Yet, never in her dreams would she expect to meet such an infuriating fellow.

In the midst of copying down her notes, she sneaked glances periodically towards him.

The young man still continued flipping through all of the books with the same speed, seemingly adamant to leave no book unturned. It seems that as long as it was a book of the Compendium Pavilion, he would surely flip through it once.

“Hmph! Let’s see how long you can keep up the act for!”

After being rebuked by Zhang Xuan, Shen Bi Ru no longer retained her calmness from before and she intended to make things difficult for him. As she copied down her notes slowly, she waited for the moment when the other party was unable to keep up with the act.

However, what left her bewildered was that the young man repeated his actions over and over again with the same astonishing speed. From the very first bookshelf, he moved from one row to another, flipping through the books, from afternoon to night, not even sparing a single minute to rest!

It had already been six to seven hours, yet the fellow was still persisting on with the same motion. Even Shen Bi Ru found it inconceivable at this point.

If his aim was to attract her attention, she had already clearly told him that she detested such actions, so he should have stopped then. So, how was it possible for him to continue flipping through like this? Not to mention, for such a long period of time?

“Could this fellow’s brain be convulsing or something? Has his cultivation went berserk and he himself became insane?”

Suddenly, a thought popped up in her head.

She had heard that when one’s cultivation goes berserk, one would start to do many abnormal actions. Could it be that flipping through books nonstop here be one of this kind of abnormal actions?

She was looking at the young man with a bizarre expression as she started to think that the young man was abnormal when she noticed that Zhang Xuan stopping in his actions after flipping through the books in the final row.

“So much knowledge!”

After a consecutive six to seven hours of hard work, he had finally imprinted all of the books in Hongtian Academy’s Teacher Compendium Pavilion in the Library of Heaven’s Path in his head.

Through the compilation of flaws and strengths from the Library of Heaven’s Path towards each individual book, he gained a certain level of understanding towards the cultivation technique, battle technique, pills, equipment forging, formations and such.

“With Zhao Ya’s Pure Yin Body, she should cultivate this manual. However, before that, I have to do some preparations…”

After imprinting the entire Compendium Pavilion, he finally understood how he should solve the problem with Zhao Ya’s physical body. He couldn’t resist heaving a breath of relief. He had even found out the loopholes and incomplete portions in the previous 3 dan of his cultivation. As long as he found some time to re-cultivate through them, he could correct and perfect them. noveltranslationweb.blogspot.com

“Gugugu!”

When he was finally finished, he felt an ache in his stomach. After working for such a long period of time, his hunger pangs had already long struck, just that he was oblivious to it then.

Shaking his head, he started to walk towards the exit of the Compendium Pavilion. However, he had only taken a few steps when he saw Shen Bi Ru standing before him, looking at him with a cold gaze.

To think that this woman would still be here after he had flipped through the books for six to seven hours.

Couldn’t be bothered with such a ‘self-important’ fellow, Zhang Xuan continued walking towards the exit of the Compendium Pavilion.

“Stop it right there!”

When he has just walked through the exit, he heard Elder Mo bellowing at him.

At this very instant, Elder Mo’s face darkened to the point that it seemed like the coalescence of numerous storm clouds, ready to explode at any moment.

He had tolerated this young man for too long!

At this moment, there was only a single thought in his head. Troublemaker, troublemaker, and troublemaker!

“Elder Mo!”

Zhang Xuan looked at him with a puzzled expression.

“Hmph, Zhang Xuan laoshi!” Elder Mo’s face was cold. With an intentionally harsher tone, he said, “You came to the Compendium Pavilion not to study, but to intentionally cause trouble! From now on, the Compendium Pavilion no longer welcomes you. If you step in here once more, I will break your legs!”

“Causing trouble? Elder Mo, where did all these come from? I have been looking through the books seriously, how did I become a troublemaker?”

Although he had already duplicated an identical Compendium Pavilion in his head and no longer had to come here, he still felt displeased upon hearing those words.

[Why is it that when other people are here, you think of them as studying, but when I am here, you think of me as a troublemaker?

What kind of logic is this?

Aren’t you being too unreasonable!]
Library of Heaven's Path

Library of Heaven's Path - Chapter 28: Enraged Elder Mo

Zhang Xuan wasn’t aware of the events that occurred in the Wang clan. After the lesson ended, he walked towards the Compendium Pavilion.

“My cultivation might have progressed significantly, but I still don’t have an in-depth understanding of battle techniques and such. I should quickly look into them! Also, I should also take a look at the 1-dan and 2-dan cultivation techniques. Otherwise, if I were to go the lessons without knowing anything, I would definitely give myself away!”

Zhang Xuan’s had multiple breakthroughs in his cultivation yesterday night, causing his strength to soar significantly. However, his knowledge on battle techniques and such were severely lacking. Furthermore, he didn’t have an in-depth knowledge of the 1-dan and 2-dan cultivation techniques. For example, when he was offering pointers to Zhao Ya earlier today, he didn’t know what kind of cultivation technique he should have imparted her to resolve the problem of her Pure Yin Body.

This was the ideal time to do a bit of research and prepare for the next lesson.

Otherwise, if he was unable to answer the questions of his students, he would expose his ignorance.

“Elder Mo!”

Arriving at the Compendium Pavilion again, Elder Mo was still guarding the entrance to it.

“What are you here for?”

Yesterday, this fellow, in pursuit of his vanity, came here to make a mess, so Elder Mo had a bad impression of him. Seeing how he was here today again, he couldn’t help but frown.

“I would like to see the manuals on battle techniques!” Zhang Xuan bowed.

“Battle techniques? One’s cultivation level is the core of one’s strength. Instead of training properly with your cultivation technique, you just had to learn from the negative examples of others, pursuing vanity, enjoying the pleasures of the illusion and slacking about! Today, you don’t have to think about entering the Compendium Pavilion!”

Elder Mo waved his hand to chase him away.

In his opinion, Zhang Xuan’s purpose here wasn’t even to read the books… Rather, he was here to flip through them to remember a few distinguished points in them to put up a knowledgeable image.

The greatest taboo in the guidance of one’s student was to impart incomplete knowledge. When your pail of knowledge was only half-full, it was easy for one’s student’s cultivation to go berserk through misguidance.

Yesterday, Zhang Xuan was here twice and both times, he was only casually flipping through the manuals. Given his speed, he probably didn’t even remember the names of the book, needless to say remembering them. What else could his actions represent, other than his pursuit of vanity?

The Compendium Pavilion was a location for teachers to research and study at. How could such a person be allowed entry!

“I pursue vanity and enjoy the pleasures of the illusion?” Zhang Xuan blinked and confusion could be seen in his eyes.

Why would he say such words?

He couldn’t resist asking, “Elder Mo, I am really here to learn and not to create trouble…”

Da da da!

Just as he was in the midst of clarifying the situation, footsteps could be heard from his back and an elegant voice sounded out.

“Elder Mo, I will be going in to grab a few books!”

Turning around to take a look, it was the goddess teacher he met yesterday, Shen Bi Ru!

At this current moment, Shen Bi Ru was dressed in light purple. Her slender body accompanied by her incredible figure and her flawless face brought out an exquisite and refined aura which radiated her surroundings.

“Oh, it is Shen laoshi. Go on in!” Seeing that it was her, Elder Mo didn’t even try to stop her in the least.

Not only was Shen Bi Ru beautiful, she was also a reputable genius among the teachers. Despite being just 20 year old, she had already reached Fighter 5-dan pinnacle, just a step away from Pixue realm.

“Thank you, Elder Mo!” She nodded her head elegantly. Turning around, she noticed Zhang Xuan, who was just standing by the side, and couldn’t help but be a little surprised.

In the past, although Zhang Xuan had never confessed to her, he would blush upon catching sight of her and would be unable to speak in front of her, bashful like a lady. Even the densest of people could tell that something was amiss.

Initially, she thought that this would be the case this time as well. However, he only took a glance at her before turning around, the adoration he held for her in the past totally absent in those clear eyes of his that resembled the pure spring water, as though he was completely immune to her beauty.

The most important point of all was that Zhang Xuan wasn’t strong, and he scored badly for his Teacher Qualification Examination as well. As a result, he would always feel inferior upon seeing other teachers, causing him to possess an unconfident disposition from his lack of self-esteem. However, at this moment, just by standing there, he looked dignified with the aura of an extraordinary person. Just by looking at his disposition itself, he was a completely different person from how he was in the past.

Recalling the situation when they met yesterday, he even dared to refute Shang Bin straight on. Shen Bi Ru couldn’t help but feel bewildered. When did that awkward young man who had an inferiority complex change so much?

“Elder Mo, I am also here to browse through the books. Why is she allowed to enter while I am denied entry?” Zhang Xuan was oblivious to the thoughts of the other party and could only gesture helplessly.

Despite being both teachers, he was discriminated even in the privilege to browse through books. What ill luck!

“Shen laoshi is entering the pavilion to study. As for what you are going in for, you should be more than aware of it! Do you still need me to point it out for you?” Elder Mo harrumphed coldly.

“There are only manuals inside, what else could I be doing inside?” With a bitter smile, Zhang Xuan shook his head. “Of course I am entering the pavilion to read books and to enhance my knowledge!”

“Enhance your knowledge? Hmph!” Elder Mo was displeased.

[Flipping through books non-stop, not even stopping in the midst to read through them properly and you call it studying? Every single cultivation technique inside is incomparably precious. You can’t possibly expect to enhance your knowledge by leaps and bounds just by flipping through tons of books without even jotting down notes! How can you possibly study like this?]

“Elder Mo!”

Just as he was about to continue explaining, Shen Bi Ru smiled faintly, her smile reminiscent of the blooming of a flower, as she said, “Zhang laoshi might really be here to learn. So, why don’t you just let him enter! If he were to be stopped here like this, it wouldn’t leave a good impression on the other teachers!”

“Un! Since Shen laoshi pleaded on your account, I will allow you to enter. However, I will tell you in advance first. If you want to look through the books, look through them properly. If I see you wandering around in there and putting up a show, just wait and see how I will punish you!”

Elder Mo gestured.

“You have my gratitude!” Zhang Xuan nodded his head, then cupped his hand towards Shen Bi Ru to show his appreciation for her help before walking into the Compendium Pavilion.

“Un?”

Initially, Shen Bi Ru thought that since she helped him, he would make use of the opportunity to strike up a conversation with her. Yet, he simply turned around to leave, leaving Shen Bi Ru a little stunned.

Although she was a little surprised, she didn’t pay much heed to it and followed behind him into the Compendium Pavilion.

It was just a casual whim of hers to help Zhang Xuan, there wasn’t any special reason or intention behind her action. Since the other party didn’t want to chat with her, she was also happy to be spared with the conversation.

“To think that coming into the Compendium Pavilion would be so troublesome. The next time, I probably won’t be able to enter anymore!”

Standing in front of the bookshelves, Zhang Xuan did not rush to flip through the books and instead, scratched his head.

He didn’t know why Elder Mo stopped him, but he was sure that it had something to do with his identity as the worst teacher in the academy.

The identity was awkward no matter where he went. Not just on the recruitment of students, even his colleagues despised him. The main reason why he was able to enter this time was thanks to Shen Bi Ru’s words. However, what about the next time?

“This Compendium Pavilion isn’t very big anyway. If I hurry up, I might be able to browse through it all within today! This way, I won’t need to enter the next time!”

Suddenly, a thought flashed through his mind.

Since Elder Mo was determined to stop him, he should just make it so that he would not need to come anymore in the future.

Given the size of the library, there were hundreds of thousands of books in here. Even if one were to spend their entire lives here, they probably wouldn’t be able to finish reading through them. However, he was different! No matter what kind of books it was, as long as he flipped through it, he would be able to compile an identical book of it in the Library of Heaven’s Path with its flaws recorded in it!

If he were to move quickly, it shouldn’t be impossible for him to imprint all of these books into his head within a single day.

Once he succeeded, he wouldn’t need to go through so much trouble to come here to look for books.

“Begin!”

The moment the thought popped into his mind, Zhang Xuan didn’t dawdle any longer and immediately walked towards the first bookshelf.

Not concerned with what books they were, he casually grabned a handful of them and huala, flipped through them.

Hu hu hu!

Just as he expected, the Library of Heaven’s Path jolted and an identical book as the one in his hands appeared on the bookshelf in it.

“Un, that’s the way to go!”

After realizing that it was possible to compile multiple books simultaneously, he walked forward and grabbed several books at once and imprints them into his head concurrently.

Hualala! Hualala!

The sound of footsteps and flipping of books echoed in the Compendium Pavilion.

“That fellow, he still dares to claim otherwise… that he isn’t putting on a show in pursuit for vanity?”

Elder Mo, who was outside guarding the library, had been paying attention to Zhang Xuan from the moment he entered the library. The previous time, that fellow only flipped through a book at a time before putting it back. Although it was clear to see that he wasn’t really serious about it, at least it still looked acceptable. Now, he was taking dozens of books at once and playing with them, placing it back in the shelves before he could even see the titles clearly.

What the heck was he doing?

Was he here to read books or to choose cabbage?

Furthermore, after looking at the manuals which the other party is looking through, he felt a spell of giddiness.

《Cultivation of Wisteria》、《Basics to the Relationship of a Male and Female》、《The Way of Amalgamating Yin and Yang》、《Refining Green Emerald Pill》、《The Important Aspects One Should Take Note of in Forging Equipment》…

There were books on all kinds of fields.

Cultivation technique, battle technique, cultivation of medical herbs… even on male-female relationship… As long as it was a book, there was nothing that this fellow would not flip through!

Everyone had their own shortcomings and merits and there were limits to a person’s energy. It was impossible for one to master every single field. Thus, one had to choose properly on which book they should look through. However, this fellow flipped through every single book without any hesitation. Was he sure that he wasn’t here to create trouble?

“He must be here to cause trouble! When he leaves, I will make sure to teach him a lesson!”

Elder Mo’s face darkened as he harrumphed coldly.

Library of Heaven's Path - Chapter 27: The Frenzied Wang Clan

“Alright, we will end the lessons here. Everyone, remember to try to comprehend the contents of this lesson when you get back. If there is anything you are unsure of, you can come over to me to clarify it!”

Zhang Xuan gestured.

“Yes!” The five students answered in chorus before leaving the classroom.

They didn’t spend a long time immersed in the lesson and there were even a couple of times where someone barged in to create trouble, but they still benefited greatly from it. It could even be said that if they were to persist on to try to comprehend what was taught, their cultivation would surely rise by leaps and bounds.

The five of them left the room excitedly. The moment Wang Ying walked out, her elder brother, Wang Tao, grabbed her.

“Go, let’s return back to our clan!”

“Return back to our clan? Big brother, why must we return…” Wang Ying was taken aback.

“Hmph, you refused to listen to the words of your elder brother and chose to acknowledge the worst teacher in the academy as your teacher. I have already reported this matter to father and he says that he would like to talk to you personally!” Wang Tao harrumphed.

The first time he entered the classroom, he was thrown out. The second time, he returned without accomplishing anything. Judging from the expression on his younger sister, he knew that he would be unable to convince her to change her mind. Thus, he sent Old Liu back to inform the clan of the matter.

He intended to get their father to persuade her.

His younger sister’s personality might be pure and innocent, but she still listened rather obediently to the words of their father.

“Father…” Fright could be seen on Wang Ying’s face.

Their father was the current clan head of the Wang Clan, Wang Hong!

He was a very strict person who rarely smiles, even his children tremble before his presence.

“Zhang Xuan laoshi actually isn’t the way that you all put him out to be. His lectures are very good…”

Wang Ying tried to retort.

“Hmph, say those words to father and see if he believes it!” Wang Tao waved his hand and without a second word, he pulled his younger sister out of the academy.

Hongtian Academy and the Wang Clan are both in Tianxuan City and they weren’t too far apart from one another. In a short moment, the two siblings reached their destination and Wang Tao pulled Wang Ying to their father’s study.

“Enter!”

The cold and strict voice of clan head Wang Hong sounded out.

“Yes!” Wang Ying tremored from fright upon hearing that voice. Clenching her jaws, she followed closely behind her elder brother into the room.

In the study, clan head Wang Hong was sitting at the utmost center of the room. The few sitting behind him were the influential elders within the clan. There was also one youth who was sitting by the side.

Wang Ying recognized the youth as the grandson of the 2nd Elder, Wang Yan.

She went to the Hongtian Academy at the same time as Wang Yan. In the end, the latter managed to acknowledge the renowned Lu Xun laoshi as his teacher whereas she acknowledged the academy’s worst reputed teacher Zhang Xuan…

“Father!” The tense atmosphere in the study made Wang Ying dare not to breathe heavily.

“Kneel down!”

Clan head Wang Hong’s face darkened.

The teacher played an utmost role on one’s route of cultivation. Before entering the academy, he had reminded her time and time again to acknowledge Lu Xun as her teacher. Yet, this lass…

[Why can’t you acknowledge anyone else?

Why must you choose the worst one in the whole academy?]

When he heard that news, he almost died from sheer anger.

Putong!

Wang Ying shivered as she knelt down.

“Do you admit your mistake?” Wang Hong asked coldly.

“I…”

“Hmph, acknowledging one’s teacher should be based on an individual’s free will, so I didn’t want to say too much about it, but are you unaware of the standards of this Zhang Xuan laoshi? The one who scored the worst for the Teacher Qualification Examination and even left a student berserk. Does someone like that have the qualifications to become your teacher?” Clan head Wang Hong said with a grave expression on his face. “If you were unaware of the situation and were deceived by him, I would still turn a blind eye to it, but why didn’t you listen to your brother’s words? I heard that your elder brother asked you to withdraw from his lessons, but you refuted him? What are you trying to do?”

Clan head Wang Hong’s voice became louder and louder, to the point that the study tremored with creaking noises.

“I…” Hearing the reprimand of her father, Wang Ying’s face turned red before she gritted her jade teeth and said, “Father, Zhang Xuan laoshi isn’t as bad as the rumors put him out to be. He is a talented teacher, just that he keeps a low profile. I want to be under his tutelage, I will not withdraw from his lessons!”

She benefited greatly from just a single lesson. Wang Ying knew that coming under the tutelage of Zhang Xuan was an opportunity for her. If she were to miss this chance, she would definitely regret it for the rest of her life.

“A talented teacher? Haha, a fellow who scored a zero in the Teacher Qualification Examination?”

“Wang Ying, you should listen to the advice of the clan head, don’t be deceived by that Zhang Xuan!”

“You should learn from Wang Yan. He might have only gone on one lesson, but his strength has already increased by 40%. The guidance of Lu Xun laoshi is definitely top-notch in the entire academy!”

Hearing the words of the young lady, the other elders laughed as they shook their head.

[There isn’t a single person in Tianxuan City who is unaware of Zhang Xuan’s reputation. Yet, you say that he is a talented teacher… What kind of joke is this!]

“You…” Hearing the words of his daughter, clan head Wang Hong was incensed, “I don’t care what you say, you have to withdraw from his lessons today! Otherwise, don’t even think about stepping into this house ever again!”

“I don’t agree with your decision!” Wang Ying might seem weak, but she had a stubborn temperament. She stood up and said indignantly, “You all have never listened into Zhang Xuan laoshi‘s lessons, so what rights do you all have to say that his lessons are sub par? What rights do you all have to force me to withdraw from his lessons?”

“We might not have listened into his lessons before, but do you think it is possible for his reputation and Teacher Qualification Examination results to be falsified?” An elder replied.

“Wang Ying xiaojie, stop being stubborn. There are so many students who can testify for whether his lessons are good or not. Do you think that you are the only smart one of the bunch?” Another elder stated.

“I don’t know whether the Teacher Qualification Examination results are falsified or not, but I know that he has treated my legs and gave me pointers for my cultivation. I can easily execute a might that is one-fold greater than previously!” Wang Ying declared.

“Treated your legs? What kind of joke is this!”

“Even Master Yuanyu is unable to do anything about your legs. Yet, you claim that a fellow who scored zero for the Teacher Qualification Examination is able to treat it?”

“Wang Ying xiaojie, even if you wish to lie in his stead, you should say something that is more believable…”

Everyone in the clan was aware of Wang Ying’s leg injury. Hearing her words, a few of the elders scoffed coldly.

“If you all don’t believe me, I will prove it to you all!”

Seeing the looks of disbelief on the elders’ faces, Wang Ying didn’t continue arguing and instead, walked over to the Strength Measuring Rock Pillar and sent a kick towards it.

Peng!

The rock pillar shook and a string of numbers appeared.

205!

“What?”

Seeing this sight, clan head Wang Hong’s eyes narrowed subconsciously.

The few elders who were reprimanding Wang Ying a moment ago were also taken aback as their lips trembled from shock.

The few elders here had specially looked into the injury of Wang Ying’s legs and had deduced that it was impossible to treat it. They concluded that it would be impossible to exert strength in them and just the fact that she was able to walk normally was already a blessing.

Yet, to wield 205kg behind such legs?

How… How was this possible?

After kicking the pillar, Wang Ying didn’t stop. She turned around and struck on the pillar with a fist.

Weng!

Numbers displayed on the rock pillar.

120!

A force of 120kg behind her fists!

“You… You’re still Juxi realm primary stage. I thought you were only able to hit 53kg when you left yesterday? How could it be possible for you to hit… 120kg?” Clan head Wang Hong abruptly stood up as his voice quivered in agitation.

Fighter 1-dan Juxi realm, cultivators would learn innate breathing and sensing of spirit in the air. Also, they would gain the ability to look into their body and control the flow of spirit energy in their body with their mind.

They would have a strength of 50kg in their primary stage, 70kg in the intermediate stage, 90kg in the advanced stage and 110kg at the pinnacle.

This was the mass that a cultivator would be able to carry with their present strength. It was normal for the strength behind their fist to be slightly lower or higher than the strength attributed to their level of cultivation.

Normally, it would already be incredible to achieve an increase of 20% to 30% around that level. Even for a renowned teacher like Lu Xun, he could only induce an improvement of 40%!

Despite not breaking through in her cultivation, being still in Juxi realm primary stage, she was able to hit with a force of 120kg, even stronger than someone at Juxi realm pinnacle! This meant that her strength enhancement was greater than a single fold, that was too formidable!

“I only improved to such an extent due to Zhang Xuan laoshi‘s guidance!” After hitting the pillar, Wang Ying stopped and declared calmly.

“With just a slight pointer, he is able to induce such a great improvement? Furthermore… treating your legs as well?”

Clan leader Wang Hong was in a state of disbelief. In a few short steps, he walked to the front of his daughter. With a single look, he immediately understood that his daughter’s legs were truly cured!

As the worst teacher in the entire academy, not only was he able to treat an injury Master Yuanyu was unable to cure, he was even able to induce a massive improvement through a short moment of guidance. Was this for real?

“Can you tell us a little about the contents of the lessons he went through today? What did he talk about?”

After a short period of shock, clan head Wang Hong couldn’t resist asking.

“Alright. Today, Zhang laoshi talked about cultivation technique. However, as what he talked about was too profound, I could only remember less than a tenth of it. This is what he said…”

After hesitating for a moment, she mentioned everything that she recalled in her mind.

“Gathering one’s breath and nourishing it… To think that there would be such a profound theory behind a simple Juxi realm!”

“This… is too incredible. If only I had undergone such lessons back then, I wouldn’t be stuck in such a realm, unable to advance ahead!”

“This is truly the theory derived from a true master. I am enlightened…”

Just by repeating a few sentences, the clan head and the elders in the room seemed to have gone into a daze, as though they were drunk on those words, on the verge of going frenzied.

To be able to become the clan head and an elder of a prestigious clan, they all possess high levels of cultivation, even the weakest of them are Fighter 6-dan Pixue realm experts.

After cultivating for so many years, they have a higher level of enlightenment towards cultivation and they understood much more about it.

Although Wang Ying was only reciting those words without understanding the underlying theories behind them, to them, those words were no different from the voice of god. It solved many of the mysteries that they were unable to decipher before in an instant and they felt refreshed.

“He… He is truly a master… No, not even a master is able to explain such profound and mystical theories!” Clan head Wang Hong’s eyes radiated a bright light and his breath quickened in agitation.

“Father, father?”

Seeing her father on the verge of going into a frenzy, Wang Ying tried to pull him back.

“Ah? Ying-er, you must not withdraw from this Zhang laoshi‘s lesson at all cost! You must learn from him diligently…” After clan head Wang Hong’s consciousness was pulled back from a mystical realm, he looked at Wang Ying with a solemn expression and said.

“But father, you just said that…” She didn’t expect that her father, who tended to be conservative, would change his mind so quickly, to the extent that she was unable to adapt to it on the spot.

“Father didn’t know that Zhang laoshi would be so incredible! Oh, right…”

At this point, clan head Wang Hong’s face had traces of excitement and anticipation on his face as he asked, “Ying-er, can you ask your Zhang laoshi… whether he is still accepting student? Let Wang Yan and Tao-er learn from him as well… Actually, why don’t I become his student as well…”

“Clan head, as the leader of the Wang Clan, how could you become the student of the low-level teacher in the academy? If word were to spread, how can our Wang Clan continue to uphold our dignity in Tianxuan City?”

Before clan head Wang Hong could finish his words, he was interrupted by the words of another elder. After reprimanding the clan head, the elder turned over with a bundle of smiles and said, “Look, I am only a normal elder and I don’t represent the image of the Wang Clan. If it is still unacceptable, I can even resign from my position of an elder. So, can you all help me ask him if I am able to acknowledge him as my teacher?”

“…” Wang Tao, Wang Ying and Wang Yan.

“…” Clan head Wang Hong.
