Dual Sword God - Chapter 84: The Mystical Fortress of Battlefield?!

Ancient Dragon Battlefield, Interior Regions, within the Foggy Zone.

The air was hazy, as a dense fog shrouded the land for as far as the eye could see. It was a pale mist, one that carried a chilling coldness within, seeping through the thickest of cloaks and most versatile of armors.

As dawn's light peered through the thick mist of this environment one would see outlines of structures, that were broken or missing sections. A few larger structures even had strange deformations looking as if they had been grabbed and used as weapons.

A variety of corpses rested on the grounds of these forsaken lands each belonging to both humanity and fiendkind. However, if one looked carefully at these corpses, they would realize that a few of them had recently been added to this field within the mist.

Their blood was mostly faded and frozen below layers of ice and dirt, as their bodies were ruptured and pierced with many different wounds of certain standards. A few of them even had broken weapons plunged deeply into the flesh, with the remaining edges sticking out of their bodies gleaming in a sharp light.

A stifling silence pervaded over this region, as only the sound of a brisk wind could be heard gently blowing across the desolated battlefield. Soon though, there came a change...

It started out low, progressing bit by bit with its volume rising at a constant pace.

Step-step-step-step!

A combination of footsteps could now be heard throughout the area, giving this pale atmosphere a tinge of life. The steps echoes continued to grow louder as their source drew closer and closer with each passing second. It could be inferred that the speed at which these individuals were moving was not slow but similar to an army at full charge.

Soon, their battle cries could be heard along with the noise of their running footsteps.

"Charge!"

"Kill the humans and sever their heads! We must claim victory for our Zone Commander!"

"Kill! Kill! Kill!"

Instantly, a series of silhouettes could be seen quickly traversing through these foggy lands. They bore different sizes ranging from heights of taller than normal humans and giant-like beings.

Soon, the forms of these individuals charging towards the misty unknown became clearer, as they numbered in the thousands. The dirt from the desolate field formed dust clouds that added further confusion and obscurity to their forms hidden away by these dense mists.

They were creatures with blue skin and muscular bodies with broadheads that had two cow-like horns at both sides of their foreheads; each wore a similar kind of armor being made to cover only their lower bodies leaving their upper parts bear. Their 'legging's' style armors were engraved with tree swirly markings like this '~' each of which was positioned horizontally in a parallel manner.

While charging towards the now vaguely recognizable silhouettes of their enemies, their eyes gleamed in a fiendish light indicating the very essence of their true nature.

Heiferfiends, a low-class fiend race said to possible an incredibly brutal nature as they tend to fight wildly without any regard to friend or foe. Standing proudly behind this large group was a ten-meter tall Heiferfiend, garbed in similar but unique looking armor with large gold chains hanging around its neck and strange golden markings on its upper body.

A Variant Heiferfiend with a battle power no weaker than a middle-class fiend. It raised a dual bladed halbert that was even larger than itself, with fresh blood dripping from both its edges as yelled, "Leave none alive!" Its thick hair swaying wildly behind its back with the rise of the chilly winds.

Four similarly large Hieferfiends stood silently by both of its sides, calmly observing the charging troop of fiends in the foggy battlefield.

As the Hieferfiend Army was closing in on those distant silhouettes, they also started to become visible. A large group of humans could now be seen rushing towards the Heiferfiend Army from the opposing side, with each of their steps drowned out by the massive Hieferfiend army charge.

However, their roars were just as loud as the opposing group of fiends.

"The men of the Imperial Zang Clan fears no danger! Charge forwards and kill these fiends!" A familiar sounding voice said.

"Kill--!" The ground of humans yelled as they charged forwards in unison, each garbed in different styles of robes representing two different kinds of influences.

Looking beyond the thick mist, one would see the figure of a man who wore decorated robes with an emblem of a golden dragon hung around his neck standing beside another individual. He was a silent man whose entire body was mostly covered with various types of cloths, his bald head vaguely visible due to its sheen, and eyes due to their deep luster.

Xun Yanshan stood calmly on the top of a broken structure that towered over the land, his robes flapping with the movement of the wind. After he gave his command to the practitioners from all parties, he looked towards the densely clothed man and spoke in a weary tone, "Sigh, we've been battling these waves for two days now, and our already small troops are dwindling. If we don't find a way to break through this wave of fiends and kill their commander, forget about finding our missing brats we will not even be able to make it the Central Regions."

Nei Sinian squinted his eyes and spoke as he carefully observed the silhouette of the Variant Hieferfiend behind the approaching fiend army, "There is no sense in worrying over the unknown for both Dong child, and your empires geniuses should be capable of handling themselves. What you should be concerned about is that large guy over there, for even if we do clear this wave, we will be in big trouble battling against him."

As Xun Yanshand heard this, his expression grew more severe as he looked towards the figure with a pensive gaze. Soon though, he cleared his thoughts and spoke to Nei Sinian once again, "You're right, it won't be easy getting a handle on that Variant Heiferfiend. It looks as if it will be even more trouble compared to that Fei Tan we fought against."

"Well, that is to be expected for its battle power should be similar to that of an elite middle-class fiendkin," Nei Sinian replied as he his eyes showed a hint of fear.

Fiendkind, they are a dark race said to come from 'outskirts' of the endless void. They are said to have been born as combatants without the need to cultivate, as such upon being born they blessed with powers of average practitioners some being stronger than most. As they age and grow to adulthood, their powers grow accordingly. The older the fiend, the more powerful they are likely to be, as even their spans are several folds that of humanity.

These beings are powerful, but not all of them are born equal, their talents and potentials are gauged by their races which are divided into low, middle, high, and finally top-class fiends. Low-class fiends are generally as powerful as ordinary practitioners, while the others are as follows:

Middle-class fiends are born with First Layer Battle Prestige, with the strongest among them capable of achieving Pseudo-Second Layer Battle Prestige. High-class fiends are born with Second Layer Battle Prestige, with the strongest among them capable of attaining Pseudo-Third Layer Battle Prestige.

Finally, top-class fiends are born with Third Layer Battle Prestige, with the strongest among them capable of achieving Pseudo-Transcended Layer Battle Prestige. These types of fiends are typically referred to as the Chosen Fiends, being geniuses that are if not comparable greater than True Bloodline Successors of Supreme Tier Bloodlines and Supreme Warriors War Saint Heritages.

However, while this is typically used to grade the potential of fiends usually limited by their races. There are a few fiends that are born in defiance of there limited class; they are called Variant Fiends, beings capable of achieving the Battle Prestige of a higher-class solely due to their distinctive natures.

Legend speaks of a class above all these, but that is a story for another time...

Xun Yanshan who heard Nei Sinians reply about Fei Tan couldn't help but frown as he spoke, "Indeed, a troublesome fellow, sigh. It's times like these I don't mind the help of that damn Midnight Temple or rather, Midnight Hall passionate," As he said this, he couldn't help but recall the figure of Yin Shuye.

"No time to complain, the armies are about to clash we need to join in to reduce our small troops casualties," Nei Sinian said in a calm and collected tone, a powerful rush of mental power soon after covered his form created a semi-transparent war giant with a battle mace that rushed towards the opposing side with great strides.

"Chet! Fine, no point complaining now can we!" Xun Yanshan said as he transformed into a golden beam of light the crashed straight into a section of the opposing troops.

Ka-Boom! A devasting explosion soon followed which created a shockwave that only managed to push a few of the fiends back, the remainder of the Heiferfiends continued to rush forwards wildly with utter disregard for their lives.

One warrior realm elite Heiferfiend beside the Variant Heiferfiend quickly rushed forwards as it collided with the form of Xun Yanshan blasting him away from the central section of the troops.

Boom-boom-boom! Their blows creating ripples as they wildly battled on a now distance side of the battlefield. As the slower approaching war giant of Nei Sinian was closing in on the troops, another warrior realm elite at the side of Variant Heiferfiend swiftly charged forwards obstructing his path causing him to be embroiled into a fierce struggle.

It was a bloody battle, as both armies collided with each other instantly creating a string of causalities. While most of the troops dead belong to the Hieferfiends, they were quickly replaced by the vast stream of Heiferfiends causing the pressure and casualties on the side of Golden Dragon Imperial Clan and Southern Revolution Faction's group to increase by the passing of time.

One man broke apart the chest of Heiferfiend with a strike of his palm martial skill. However, before he could rejoice, his skull was smashed to pieces by the same Hieferfiend who used its hands to attack wildly clapping them together as if he was clapping a fly.

With the brain matter falling to the ground from its bloody palms, the Heiferfiend swiftly continued its reckless charge not caring about the hand of the man was plunged deep into its chest, or the weight of his body that was still attached to it, swinging its arms violently towards any who came in its reach.

A few other similar scenarios could be seen occurring to the struggling humans battling against this wild troop.

Xun Yanshan seeing this from a distance as he fought the Warrior realm Hiefterfiend frowned, as he cursed, "Damn! If it weren't for these blasted fiends, the casualties would be lower. How could these seemingly normal wingmen be so strong!"

Nei Sinian seeing this knitted his brows for a moment before passing a mental message to the mind practitioners, "What are you doing?! Quickly use the <Mental Barrier Arms Sutra> to reduce the casualties!"

Quickly heeding their leader's command, the group of mental practitioners rapidly chanted a strange set of words in unison. Soon, a semi-transparent barrier form around all of the humans bodies causing the casualties to stop.

The Variant Heiferfiend seeing this frowned as it spoke, "Oh? Well, they were mental practitioners in the mix. Its been so long since I last saw such rare humanities if I recall correctly, the last Ancient Dragon Battlefield War had no such practitioners within. Good! I will add their bones to my collection."

He then looked towards the two remaining large Heiferfeinds by its side and commanded, "Both of you quickly destroy this troops remainders."

As the two by its side heard its command, they responded promptly responded as they rushed towards the opposing human's side, "As the leader commands!"

The Variant Heiferfiend then looked towards the small armor battling the endless troops with a look of disdain in its eyes as it though to itself, "We have prolonged the battle for an unnecessarily long time, the Zone Commanders of the Central Regions should already be heading to Center of all Zones. These weaklings are certainly not the strongest of the humans gathered here. We must prepare before those---"

As the Variant Heiferfiend was lost in its thoughts, it couldn't help but become distracted as it noticed a strange scene. It said, "Eh?"

Vaguely in the distance, a towering structure could be seen. It floated in the air hovering above the lands of these dense mists; It looked like a mansion or maybe a fortress? None of that matters, for the sight before the Variant Heilfiend eyes, was no different than worm catching sight of an eagle.

"Damn! How could they get here so fast?! Weren't they said to be in Blazing Zone? This rejected Fortress of the---" The Variant Hieferfiend cursed loudly as it recognized the 'Fortress' in-font its eyes, but before it could finish its words of anger there was another change.

Pheww! Pheww! Blaze! Two rays of scarlet-red light beamed towards the two assaulting Warrior realm Heiferfiends. Upon sensing the danger, they quickly tried to act. However, their resistance served only to be futile. It was as if they were made of paper; both instantly turned into flames that soon became as ashes leaving behind blazing flames and the two rays of light that materialized into two separate forms standing proudly on the grounds misty battlefield.

Their red robes dancing in the wind, and red hairs that swayed gently behind their backs. Their eyes were shrouded by a layer of darkness that formed because of the flames before their figures, filling them with a destructive presence like no other in the battlefield.

Xun Yanshan and Nei Sinian seeing these two forms were shocked as they shouted together, "How could they be in this zone?!"

"Chet! So, what if you're that dreadful human group. I've heard about in this two days; I must have a look at how you will get through my blades?!" The Variant Heiferfiends said as its gaze grow colder by several degrees, making his entire being become one with the chilly haze of the environment.

He gripped his dual bladed halberd and slowly stepped towards the central area of the battlefield, causing the chilliness to rise and an even firer wind to blow. The dense mist soon after shrouding all of the battling individual's forms once again...
Dual Sword God

Dual Sword God - Chapter 83: Matuk's Tribe, A Dangerous Mission!

The Gloomy Forest was as a bleak as ever, as the constant downpour carried with it a heaviness that weighted down on the souls of many of the forest's inhabitants. Still, while many would be lost into this dull state of mood, there were a few inhabitants who displayed unusually excited and ferocious traits, as could be seen by the inhabitants of a tribe gathered before us...

It was a vast and loosely fortified tribal ground, with fences made of oak-like wood that enclosed an area spanning no more than 1000 meters. This wooden fence was crudely connected and plunged deeply into the ground; it was connected to a central entryway that had no obstacles with a tower positioned its center elevated a few meters from the ground.

A bundle of sharpened versions of these oak-like woods was bounded together tightly with sturdy looking vines as their pointed tips aimed forwards. They were placed around this wooden enclosure as well as a few meters away from the entryway of the tribe.

Within this tribal ground, was a group of crude buildings made of wood, grass, and stones. A few more ancient and unusually advance buildings could be seen at random locations inside of the tribe, but these buildings only remained as a remnant of their former prestige.

Tum! Tum! Tum-Tum-Tu-Tum! ~

In a wild and archaic style of beat, a group of dark skinny creatures gathered together in the form of a ceremony. They were wearing crudely crafted armor made from the dead wood and grasses collected from the surrounding environment while dancing in a tribe-like manner.

As if they were in-tuned with the beat both of their legs would tap the floor four times before they pointed their claw-like palms towards a large central pillar at the direct center of this tribe.

Upon stretching their palms outwards, they would shout in unison saying, "Ou!" Their voices resounded throughout the area ignoring the by rain. If one looked carefully, they would see a strand of dark energy leave these inhabitants claw-like palms and shoot towards the central pillar.

This pillar was strange, as it was coated in a white tone with its structure made from an unknown source. An arrangement of complex runic patterns was laid out across its plain white surface each of which would be usually dull was now glowing in a myriad of tints.

As the strands of dark energies entered the pillar, the glowing runes on its surface only grew brighter and brighter with each passing moment. Soon, the energies gathered within the pillar reached a point of saturation causing it to send ripples of energies in throughout the sky.

Phew! Quickly, a beam of light shot towards the sky soon after returning to the pillar which then formed a new runic design on its surface. If one observed the pillar once again, they would see that approximately 97% of the pillar was covered with these marking.

Suddenly, the beating of the drums had come to abrupt end. The dancing creatures became silent as a taller and a well-armored elderly looking creature surrounded by a few others walked towards the pillar of the ritual.

The elderly creature then inspected the pillar for a moment before shifting its gaze towards the congregated tribesmen and spoke, "Fellow Tribesmen! In roughly three days the Ascension Pillar will be ready, and our Chieftain will finally be able to ascend to new heights become a High Tier Leader under the wing of our great Zone Commander! If this happens, we will be able to join the direct army and go to battle against the humans on the frontlines earning us points to buy our freedoms!"

"Ouuu! For the glory of the Chieftain!" The group of creatures shouted in unison as they stomped the ground causing the area to shake.

The elderly creature seeing their responses was pleased as it waved its hand causing the creatures to return to silence once again, it then continued to speak, "Good! Therefore, we must do everything within our power to complete the ritual. The hunting squad will patrol the outer regions of the tribe and prevent any other tribes and camps to find out our details, while tomorrow we will commence with the ritual once more at dawn!"

As it finished its statement, waved its hand and shouted, "All Ghoulfiends are dismissed!"

Hearing his words, each of the Ghoulfiends quickly left the ritual area and returned to their posts. A few more powerful looking Ghoulfiends with red markings over their bodies remained at guard around the pillar along with the elderly looking Ghoulfiend who looked at them and spoke, "You elites must remain vigilant at all times, I want the Ascension Pillar to be protected from any forms of danger!"

As the elderly Ghoulfiend said this, he then walked away towards the central hut-like building of the tribe. The surrounding powerful looking Ghoulfiends then promptly responded with a firm tone, "Yes Sir!"

Soon, the atmosphere within the tribe returned to one of solemnness as former liveliness had all but disappeared. Within one of the ancient buildings that did not stand out in any way, was a peculiar Ghoulfiend. It had all the necessary features of features of Ghoulfiends with only its hair carrying a shade of red, but this hair was mostly covered by a rusty helmet that hid its face from the world.

As he it noticed movements of the elderly Ghoulfiend and strong looking Ghoulfiends before its eyes, the strange Ghoulfiend couldn't help but think to itself, "Hmm, so that pillar is the command's main objective. I would have to find a way to either destroy or disrupt that pillars activities to successfully sabotage this tribe. However, those are Elite Class Ghoulfiends along with that Elder Ghoulfiend. While they are worth a lot of points respectively, I will not be able to handle them or easily accomplish this mission with them being on guard."

Feng Yu looked at the extremely vigilant Elite Ghoulfiends and strictness of Matuk's Tribal members with a frown on his face as he pondered. Soon though, there was a disturbance.

"Hey! You over there! What are you doing? Get over here immediately! It is time to patrol the regions outside of the camp!" A powerful voice said.

Hearing this command, Feng Yu quickly reacted by moving towards the group with his head held down. The Elite Ghoulfiend who was the leader of the hunting squad frowned as he saw this, he shouted towards Feng Yu, "What! Is this how you reply to higher command? What is your name brat?!"

Feng Yu hearing this smirked underneath his helmet as he replied with gestures signifying that he couldn't speak. He waved his hand making hand signs soon after pointing towards his throat that had a large slit mark scar on its surface.

The Elite Ghoulfiend seeing this frowned as he said with disgust, "Damn! Why did my group had to have another piece of injured trash?! Sigh..."

The companion Ghoulfiends looked towards Feng Yu with mock in their eyes as they jeered.

"Keke! What's wrong with you? Did Catlin steal your throat?"

"Kekeke! That's most likely the case as I can't even feel his fiend auras he's probably more suitable of being cannon fodder!"

The Elite Ghoulfiend soon quickly recovered from his foul mood and no longer gave any attention to the members of the group. As if they weren't worth his sight, he continued to march towards outskirts of the tribe and commanded, "Let's not waste any more precious time! Hunting squad move out!"

The jeering Ghoulfiends upon hearing his voice quickly reacted by marching forwards and responding in unison, "Yes Squad Leader!"

Feng Yu who saw this scene smiled with a sharp light at the depths of his now oddly red-like eyes. He followed the group at a steady pace soon after vanishing with its members in the depths of forests.

*****

Boom! There was a loud explosion that shook everything within the range of 100 miles, a peerlessly beautiful figure with long white hair was blown across the sky turning into a beam of light that fell into distant dense forests bushes. Her figure continued to roll stacking up wounds all over her body. Soon, she crashed into a rocky wall leaving a deep impression within it.

Pat. Pat. Pat.

A stream of blood flowed down her forehead along with her sweat that fell to the verdant ground. She struggled to keep her eyes that were becoming dull and lifeless open as she looked towards the lights from the explosion in the distant horizon.

Her eyes grew misty as a stream tears fell from the corner of her eyes, soon though, her eyes grow sharp as thick killing intent spread out from her entire being. She spoke in a cold tone, "If it wasn't because my body is facing repercussions, they have never died to likes of that b-tch! I will certainly... certainly... kill you!"

As she finished her statement, she willed for a strange wristband to appear from her storage ring that quickly wrapped its self across her slender wrist. Soon, an odd kind of energy shrouded her form. noveltranslationweb.blogspot.com

Swoosh! The instant her figure became shrouded by the energy from the wristband, a powerful spiritual sense soon after scanned the area.

The scan was in-depth as if the person behind this spiritual sense was determined to leave no stones unturned, however, after a good while it receded to its source.

A seductive but deep voice soon resounded throughout the area, "Tsk! How could I lose track of such a rare humanity! Hmph! I will find you sooner or later little girl..."

Her voice vanished, as a dark wind slowly began to blow over the depths of the Gloomy Forest...
Dual Sword God

Dual Sword God - Chapter 82: War Command, A Phoenix’s Way

It was what could only be called a dreadful sight, collections of commands listed together in an orderly manner with rankings of a different scale. If one carefully skimmed through these listed commands, they would realize that most of them had a ranking of 'B' and above meaning, that each of the objectives associated to these duties was dangerous beyond the average level.

Naturally, the corresponding war points related to these dangerous war commands are of an entirely different grade as well.

A youth with red hair was currently hidden within some tall shrubberies carefully inspecting a semi-transparent list that was visible only to his eyes, as he browsed through the list his brows would furrow as a dark expression grew on his face.

Feng Yu inspected the [War Commands List] before his eyes in a bad mood, as he frowned and complained in a helpless tone, "Goddamnit! What kind of commands are these? Are they expecting me to be able to accomplish these tasks?!"

He said as the frown on his face grew more noticeable, and expression only became worse. The War Commands are as listed:

"War Commands List – Central Region"

"Sabotage Command"

"Sabotage Matuk's Tribe Rituals - Rank B Command – War Points: 10000."

"Steal the Dark Palace's Sapphire Orb - Rank +A Command – War Points: 250000."

"..."

"Assassination Command"

"Kill the Aqua Nymph Queen - Rank ++A Command – War Points: 500000."

"Kill the Orckusfiend Matuk - Rank ++B Command – War Points: 50000."

"..."

"Hunting Command"

"Hunt a Nymph Fiendkin - Rank +C Command – War Points: 2500."

"Hunt a Ghoulfiend - Rank C Command – War Points: 1000."

"Hunt a Sub Terranean - Rank C Command – War Points: 1000."

"..."

Feng Yu looked at the list, again and again, hoping it would re-update, but soon, he eventually gave up and decided to accept what couldn't be changed. He then gripped his fists tightly as a firm look came on his face while he spoke, "It no longer matters, whether it is an impossibility or no different from utter suicide. Since I cannot escape this region, I will move forward even if I must walk through a sea of fire, and field of needles. The Phoenix doesn't grow without enduring the flames of rebirth!"

He skimmed through the list and spoke once more, "Hmm, the Steal the Dark Palace's Sapphire Orb, the Dark Palace? Where is this place supposed to be?"

Upon saying this, the information before his face changed creating a map screen with its edges mostly covered in darkness and a title saying, 'Map of the Endless Rain Zone.' Towards the central section of this map was an endless sight of trees and mountains that stretched all the way into the darkness, a few faded outlines of constructs could be seen at random locations.

There was an extensive outline of a palace placed on top of a massive mountain surrounded by other mountains at the very center of this map; this palace was highlighted in a bright blue color.

Feng Yu who saw this couldn't help but frown as he thought to himself, "So if this section here is this so-called Dark Palace. Where am I currently placed on this map? Where is the Gloomy Forest?"

As he said this, the map information updated once more.

If one carefully looked at the edges of this map, they would see a forest that occupied a small fraction of the area covered in darkness. A tiny patch of visible regions could be noticed as a small circle was surrounding them, looking closely at this forest's center one would see an even smaller red dot that flickered now and then.

Looking at this red dot at the edge of this massive map, and the distant mountains and trees leading all the way to the glowing blue palace. Feng Yu shook his head and rejected the idea, "I can't even tell if I will be able to safely leave this forest much less travel to steal a precious orb from a place at such a distance. Let's see if there is a better option available to me..."

He once more continued to skim through the listing soon coming across an unusual name, and spoke with a voice of puzzlement, "Matuk? Such a strange name, I wonder who this is... hmm, the Orckusfiend Matuk?"

"What is an Orckusfiend?" Feng Yu asked as he willed to the interface before him, soon, the image of a familiar looking towering humanoid creature with a robust figure appeared before his eyes.

He exclaimed in surprise, "Wait! Isn't that large fiend trying to catch me a type of Orckusfiend?"

Feng Yu quickly looked over the details after willing to select the mission and was stunned. He said, "Well! The Chieftain of Matuk's Tribe which is inside of the Gloomy Forest, that True Foundation realm bastard. Haha! Who would have thought? While I won't be able to kill you, I don't have to since there are plenty of ways to get revenge..."

A fierce light shone in his eyes as he looked at the sabotage mission instead of the killing mission and willed, "I will accept the command - Sabotage the Matuk's Tribe Rituals!"

As Feng Yu said this, a voice quickly responded in mind, "Request granted! You now have 3 Days to accomplish this mission. If you fail this mission, then because you have no points you will lose all rights to participate in the Ancient Dragon Battlefield Wars. The War Command has been Issued!"

Upon finishing its words, a flash of light flickered briefly over Feng Yu's body as he felt himself become restricted to a greater will. A genuinely uncomfortable feeling, however, he quickly recovered his state of being and looked towards the area in the forest where he had escaped from as he thought to himself, "Hmm, now that most of the forests fiendkin have been notified of my presence I will have to find a way to travel back to that camp I first saw I came to this place. What method would be the best means?"

Feng Yu thought to himself as he scratched his chin with his fingers, he then spread his soul force around the environment while carefully keeping himself hidden within the tall bushes. Soon, a few fluctuations of energies could be felt coming from the distance.

Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou!

As if a storm was passing through, a group of black rays beamed their way through the bleak forest as they tore through the harsh downpour that fell upon the forests lands. These beams of black lights had trails of red amongst them which if one was capable of perceiving connected to two bright gleaming red eyes within each of these beams of lights.

These creatures radiated a shocking aura as they swiftly swept pass Feng Yu's area beaming there way further into the forest. Their spiritual senses swept about the area covering even including Feng Yu's form, however, unnoticed by even Feng Yu himself, his figure remained hidden to all as an odd bright light flickered for a moment at the depths of his soul.

Feng Yu seeing them pass by let out a sigh of relief as he thought to himself, "Whew! That was close! I was even prepared to tunnel through the earth to escape once more. How on earth did they not find me? No matter, this isn't important right now I have to figure out how to get--"

As he was thinking this, his words were soon interrupted by another change.

Swoosh! Boom! A towering figure dropped from the sky as his feet pressed into grass fields created a massive crater, he then swiftly pushed unto the ground once again and launched himself into air soaring towards the distance. noveltranslationweb.blogspot.com

The voice of the figure echoed throughout the region as it roared in anger, "Damn human! You better not let me find you again!"

As Feng Yu saw the Orckusfiend Matuk vanished towards the depths of the forest, he couldn't help but radiate a tinge of killing intent as he thought to himself, "Ma-tuk!... I hope you're ready, for when I am done with your tribe. You will rue the day you set out to catch this young master!"

Feng Yu was so upset that he didn't even notice he had spoken in third person a way usually expressed by his former or 'their' former bodies main 'resident.' He then picked himself up from the ground and began to swiftly but cautiously make his way towards the tribe's location.

Swoosh-swoosh! As his figure, danced through the trees and tall bushes, a few unusual events couldn't be avoided.

Swish! A thick and dark looking vine that had mouths all over it abruptly shot towards the figure of Feng Yu that was traveling through some bushes. The vine was quick as it moved like a pale green light that instantly surrounded Feng Yu's body, as he sensed the danger his eye was capable of perceiving, he promptly acted by using his instinct.

Like it was second nature, he moved one of his hands that had been continually holding the hilt of Black-lightning instantly drawing the sword from its sheath following up with a blindingly quick assault.

Shing! ~ "Extremity Sword Path: Path of Speed – Thunder Flash Sword!" Feng Yu roared as his blazing, and slightly thunderous aura energy swept towards the thick vine that surrounded his body. His half-step sword intent pushed towards the max as it formed a sharp semi-transparent beam with his aura energies that soon quickly collided with the vine.

BOOM! "Sreeee---!" Following a loud boom, the scream of an unusual creature could be heard within the forest as the vine was burnt and sliced to pieces. The remaining section of the vine had swiftly retreated to a dark part of the gloomy forest as the dense rain fell drowning the remainder of it wails.

Feng Yu who had successfully cut away, the vine did not waste any time as he moved like a streak of red lightning quickly escaping the unknown dangerous plant's territory. Soon, he arrived at the destroyed narrow pathway.

He looked at the scene in front of him with a frown on his face. He spoke, "Tsk! How troublesome? Now I will have to find a new way around, and I still haven't found my way to sneak into the---"

Feng Yu was about to complain some more, but soon, his expression changed. He looked at the hand of a corpse in the rubbles before him and spoke with a strange smile on his face, "Hahaha! There is also that way..."

His eyes gleamed in an odd light, as the reflection of the dark skinny creature shone illuminating his dark mood...
Dual Sword God

Dual Sword God - Chapter 81: 10% Aura Condensation, Alarmed Fiendkins!

The heaven was shrouded by bright golden lights, as a divine energy filled the world.

The practitioners and fiendkin gathered within the Ancient Dragon Battlefield each carried different expression with most of them being that of excitement. Of course, this was only visible within their eyes as they were still currently within a state of stillness.

One figure of a red-haired youth was filled with even more excitement than the others as his gleamed with brilliant rays. He thought to himself, "My essence energy has achieved 10% Aura Condensation! How could this be possible? I haven't even advanced to the stage Aura Disciple yet."

As Feng Yu observed the scene within his body, there was an unusual development that could be noticed.

Around a small organ that connected to many robust crystal-like golden veins were a group of energies that form clusters. These energies were red-like flames with a vague hint of multi-colored streaks of lightning that sparked about randomly. If one looked carefully, they would feel a different kind of breath on these energies making them feel like a life of their own.

Feng Yu seeing this scene within his body couldn't help but wonder, "If it is like this now, then what would happen once I awaken my Dantian and truly breakthrough to Aura Disciple stage? It seems that I have much to look forward to..."

As Feng Yu was lost in his thoughts, there was a new change.

With the sound of a loud 'bang,' the world started to shake as all lifeforms began to undergo a strange change.

The fiendkin each started t0 glow with a dark light of different intensities, a few special fiendkin such as the Ghostfiends glowed in ominous green and dim purplish lights. However, the practitioners had also started to glow with a variety of different lights some with elemental and non-elemental color's being of a pale white tone, while some special humans glowed with unusual sights.

Quickly though, all lights started to diverge as the gentle but indifferent voice once again sounded throughout the world.

"Now that you 'Challengers' have all converted your Aura's and Qi's to that of 'Force Energy,' or rather 'Battle Force,' you will each officially be able to partake in the Ancient Dragon Battlefield Wars. Your objectives are simple, complete your 'War Commands,' and you will be able to earn points. These points are known as 'War Points,' each point will allow you to become one step closer to gaining access to the Ancient Dragon Palace. There, you will be allowed to exchange these points for precious cultivation techniques usable in your world as well as other items and artifacts."

"To enter the Ancient Dragon Palace, you will need at least 1 million points each of which can be gathered from listed war commands. So long as you 'will' for them to appear they will appear before your conscious mind, simply will for the war command that you would like to the challenge and accomplish the commands within its given time limit. Failure to do so will not only result in you losing points, but you also face certain repercussions."

As the voice said this, the world became silent once more as if It was waiting for the practitioners gathered to remember its words.

"Interesting... so it was like this, it will be quite a brutal battle," Feng Yu thought as he recalled her previous words, quickly the voice once more continued.

"Good! Ancient Dragon Battlefield War Begin!" The voice said as it echoed throughout the world for a short period.

Pheeww! The bright lights that shrouded the world quickly receded as the world once more returned to its normal state.

Bang! With a thunderous boom, Feng Yu's figure that had been released from the state of stillness instantly transformed into a streak of bright red lightning. His figure beamed through the remaining 2 kilometers of the narrow passageway as if distance had lost all meaning.

As he felt this terrifying change in his speed, Feng Yu couldn't help but shout in excitement, "Hahaha! Such incredible speed it's no different from an actual Aura Disciple of the 1 Tier. If I were to use my bloodline along with my sword intent, then I am fully confident that I will capable surpassing the speeds of 3 Tier Aura Disciples and even if my battle power would not be able to defeat them, escaping is no issue."

As Feng Yu was feeling excited about his increase in strength, the fiends behind him also had changes of their own

Sou! Sou! Sou!

The skinny but fast Ghoulfiends each started to glow with a dark kind of energy which pushed their speeds to new limits causing them to move like black rays of lights. Their figures quickly vanishing into the depths of the forest where Feng Yu had disappeared.

BOOM! Following a loud boom, the towering form of the Orckusfiend launched into the sky breaking through the surface of the cave causing the entire cave to collapse. He then looked towards the location of depths of the gloomy forest where Feng Yu's form had vanished and complained, "Damn humanity! The Rain Commander will certainly kill this one for sure if he were to be found out that I saw a human and couldn't catch it. It looks like I'll have to alert the other camps."

Upon saying this, the Orckusfiend then lifted its head to the heavens and commanded, "All fiendkin camps here me! There is a human among us!"

His voice rippled through the sky spreading further and further into the depths of the forest, oddly enough, the harsh rain couldn't stop the sound from spreading to a significant fraction of the woods.

At the depths of the forest, a few peculiar campgrounds could be seen, some looking like ancient tribal temples and others looking like crudely built villages with barricades made of dead wood and thatched huts of varying sizes.

Still, while these camps were different, they each carried a similar prominent symbol belonging to that of a '雨,' which is a symbol representing their primary influence.

If one looked closely within these camps, they would see groups of strange creatures either on patrol or standby, some of them being of large or small figures. Currently, a few of these creatures were engaged in idle conversation as they sat within their camp structures to shield themselves from the harsh rain.

"Keh Keh! It looks like we have another Battlefield War upon us, I've been icing for a good fight against humans for a long time... I wonder when the Zone Commander will send out the official commands?" A short dark green creature with a large nose said.

"Keh! The Adaption Phase has just ended, and we only now have access to a certain fraction of our sealed powers. The Zone Commanders would have already started heading Center of All Zone's for the War Conference as no human could possibly be in the centra----" As a similar looking creature dressed in thick armor started to reply, he was suddenly disturbed by a distant but loud echo.

"All fiendkin camps here me! There is a human among us!" The voice said.

"Eh?! What!" A figure said as it spat out the food made of unusual but plump looking insects that it was currently eating.

"Which bastard is speaking nonsense?! How can there be humans in the Central Regions so soon?" A creature said in anger.

"That's the voice of Matuk, the Ork Chief of the Ghoulfiends!"

"Eh? That fellow? Well if that's the case, there can be only one reason for a human to be here..." A more robust looking dark green skin creature said while looking towards an elderly looking dark green creature dressed in a colorful robe and a shouldering a large staff.

The elder creature nodded as it glanced around each creature in the hut before speaking, "This human is certainly the chosen among chosens! If we can capture it and offer it to Rain Commander, we will earn big!"

Upon hearing this, the creature within room became stunned but soon their eyes filled with greed as they stood up in uniform and started arranging themselves.

The other camps became shocked as they heard the voice of the Orckusfiend, but soon, they each began reacted in swift and different ways.

"Move quickly! We must be the first to capture the human!"

"The time for our the Dark Wolfmen Tribe to rise has come let's go!"

"Hmph! The earth is our domain, how can others even hope to catch the human before our Sub Terranean Clan?"

As the voices of the different Fiendkin camps and races echoed throughout the raining forest, the beaming figure of Feng Yu had finally managed to shake off his pursuing Ghoulfiends.

A bright beam of red light quickly struck into the ground in a field of dense shrubberies, soon after condensing into the form of a red-haired youth. His face was no longer covered with mud as the harsh waters of the downpour had cleaned away the dirt revealing his handsome appearance.

Feng Yu looked at the dense trees and bushes behind him while speaking furiously, "That son of a b-tch, I will certainly get my revenge!"

As he said this, his eyes glowed with a sharp killing intent, but soon, he collected himself and pondered, "So I say, but I am currently no match for even a mid-level Aura Disciple realm practitioner of the 4 Tier much less one at the True Foundation realm. It looks like I'll need to find a place to consolidate my new strength and then strive to quickly breakthrough to the Aura Disciple realm."

But as he said this, he couldn't help but look around the dense dark and gloomy forest. Vaguely, the sound of strange beasts could be heard despite the pouring rain. Feng Yu frown and spoke, "Tsk! Finding a place here to hide truly is easier said than done, especially after that damn creatures' outcry. It can't be helped, I'll have to may due with the current environment."

Upon saying this, he was about to move towards a more covert space, but, there was a change.

Ping! "Your War Commands list has been updated!" A voice said.

Feng Yu hearing this was momentarily surprised, but he quickly recovered and willed for the list to appear before his eyes. Soon, a semi-transparent list appeared in his front showcasing a variety of War Commands each with a corresponding war points in regard to their difficulties.

Typically, one would be happy upon seeing their War Commands list. However, the current Feng Yu felt like he had left a dark prison and fallen into the bottomless pit of hell itself.
Dual Sword God

Dual Sword God - Chapter 80: The End of the Adaption Phase

The world was gloomy, as the rain fell heavily, causing the people gathered in this area to have a dark mood. One individual or rather, humanoid creature, carefully made its way through some tall unusual shrubberies, before it was a muddy ground with vaguely visible footprints, each leading to an odd-looking arrangement of bushes.

Chaaaaaaaa! Splash-crunch!

Each step of the humanoid creature through the muddy water and trodden grass was mostly drowned by the unceasing downpour. Quickly, this humanoid creature managed to make its way to the strange looking arrangement of bushes. It then swiped its claw-like hands towards the shrubberies attempting to rip it to pieces.

A cold and cunning light shone brightly within the depths of its red eyes.

Swish! Quickly, the arrangement of bushes was destroyed by the creature's claws, but what laid underneath its covering filled the humanoid creature with confusion.

It was a small unfinished hollowed section of the earth looking as if it was recently dug by an animal to rest that soon after left in a hurry. There were no signs of any creature laying in the small pit as it was too little to fit even small deer.

The creature looked at the pit and cursed under its breath, "Tsk! Another dead trail, where the hell did this damn human hi---?" But, before it could finish its statement, there was an interruption.

Shing~! The sharp cry of the sword echoed vaguely for a moment in this dense pouring rain as a cold gleam of light flickered across the neck of the unguarded humanoid creature.

As the humanoid creature felt the sudden change, it tried to react by opening its mouth to warn its 'kinsmen' within the vicinity. However, it was too late, for its head had already soared into the air while blood shot forth from its neck only to be drowned as away by the harsh rain.

Fwap! Its corpse fell into the muddy water on the gloomy but lush field, the odd grasses that grew nearby quickly reacted by wrapping around its form and drawing it further beneath the earth, soon, the corpse became one with the scenery.

Sou! The figure of handsome red-haired youth appeared holding a sharply shimmering black sword in one of his hands; the sword dripped with dark-colored blood that covered a small section of its blade. His clothing was dirty, his hair unkempt and face was coated with dark, dirty marks, filling him with a wild, ferocious spirit.

Feng Yu looked at the now 'grassland-corpse' of the Ghoulfiend that became a part of the earth with a cold glint in the eyes and spoke, "Hmph! Trying to sneak up on my hideout by yourself is no different from fool's errand."

After finishing his words, Feng Yu then jumped back into another section of dense shrubberies his figure fading away into the darkness beneath this cluster of bushes.

Step-step-step!

Quickly, the sounds rapid of footsteps could be heard as a group of Ghoulfiends made their way over to the area where vague sounds of battle had slightly echoed. A pity though, for what lingered there was nothing but the vestiges of swift struggle as the corpse and its killer had both faded away...

******

Drip. Drip.

Inside of a dark cave, Feng Yu sat quietly around a bonfire. He sat calmly while pondering, "It's now dark out, and I have almost no clue as to how long this strange limit on my essence-energies will last. If this situation continues I'm almost certain that I will be caught in by those damn fiends sooner or later."

He then looked at his palms placed before the flames. A sharp aura rose above them as if they were trying to turn everything within their reach into a sword. He moved one palm towards the small flame and swiped his finger across it as if he were using a sword.

Puff! A tiny section of the flame was partially cut into two as the fire burned in confusion for a short while before quickly reforming and burning in its usual manner.

Feng Yu then looked at his palm and smiled before saying, "Still, the only upside side is that I've now successfully managed to comprehend a fraction of sword intent, thus achieving the sword realm of half-step sword intent. With this, my battle power has noticeably risen. If I can truly go a step further and achieve true sword intent, I might be able to achieve First Layered Strength."

Upon saying this, he couldn't help but sigh to himself as he spoke, "The Central Regions of all places, sigh, not to mention this odd stream of information."

He then willed within his thoughts causing an interface to appear before his eyes. However, the current information shown had slight differences compared to the ones viewed previously.

"Candidate Class: True Chosen – Feng Yu…"

"Strength Level: F++ Class | Bloodline: Unknown…"

"Race: Humanity | Force Energy: Uncommon Fire-Lightning Type …"

"Talent – Half-Paragon Class…"

"Location: ADB - Central Regions, Endless Rain Zone, Gloomy Forest…"

"Survivability Assessment: 5%."

"Body Adaption Phase: 99.8%."

As Feng Yu saw this new parameter, he felt surprised. He questioned, "Eh? What's going on here? Body Adaption Phase? Hmm, so it seems that before one can utilize their full strengths in this mystic realm, one must go through a period of adaption. A good constraint as typically everyone would be gathered together with their respected influences upon entering, but for cases like mine..."

The moment Feng Yu said this, the entrance of his hideaway finally began to make some rustling noises. He looked at the entrance of this rocky cave hideaway covered with thick shrubs as he slowly reached for the hilts of both swords on his back, and continued speaking, "It's nothing more than an endless nightmare..."

Bang! The entrance of the cave crumbled into many fragments of rocks revealing the dark sky covered by clouds, as the relentless downpour soon after began to flood its way through the ceiling of the destroyed entrance.

A group of Ghoulfiends quickly rushed into the cave followed by a towering figure that took up most of the space.

The Ghoulfiends upon seeing Feng Yu trapped in a corner like a rat started to mock excitedly.

"Ke-ke! Humanity, where will you run to now?!"

"I see no exit! Ke-ke! Unless you want to try and run through us brothers here!"

"Ke Ke Ke Ke!"

The group of Ghoulfiends continued to laugh in excitement, but the towering figure furrowed its brows angrily as it snapped, "Silence!"

Its loud roar echoing throughout the cave soon brought silence to the once excited Ghoulfiends who then looked towards it with fear and reverence, seeing this scene the Orckusfiend nodded its head in satisfaction.

It then looked towards Feng Yu and spoke, "Human, did you think you would get away? Haha! The Adaption Phase hasn't ended yet. You must be dreaming. Humph! Today I'm going to---"

Before he could finish speaking, Feng Yu who had remained silent looked towards the Orckusfiend with a calm expression as he finally spoke, "Fiendkin, although I do not know what happens to the humans you capture. I do know that I won't be hindered by you here today."

As if struck by a lightning bolt all of the fiends became stunned. They looked towards Feng Yu with their red eyes gleaming with a 'tint' of ridicule as waves of laughter quickly followed.

"Ke Ke Ke Ke Ke!"

"Hahahaha! Humanity! You must be the greatest idiot of all humankind that I have ever seen!" The Orckusfiend said as it roared with laughter, soon though, its face became sharp.

It looked towards Feng Yu with a ruthless expression and spoke, "Break his limbs and bring him to me alive! I must have a look to see what kind of expression he will give when I torture him in the 'pit' for a few months! I will deliver you to the Zone Commander with no spirit left!"

"Ke Ke as lord chieftain wish!"

"Attack!"

The Ghoulfiends hearing his command promptly responded as they quickly made their way towards Feng Yu with full strides turning into multiple blurs.

Sou! Sou! Sou!

As Feng Yu saw this, a fiery gleam lit up in his eyes, he rose to his feet and rushed towards an unnoticed corner of the cave. Quickly, his form vanished into a small and narrow gap that was created recently.

The Orckusfiend upon seeing Feng Yu's went mad as he roared, "Damn! Chase him quickly! Don't let him get away again!"

The Ghoulfiends hearing his new command quickly reacted by changing the direction of their charge, rushing towards the narrow gap. However, before they could reach its entrance, there was a change.

"Humph! As if I'd give you that chance, break for me!" Feng Yu's voice said, soon after followed by a loud sound.

Shing~! The cry of sword resounded once more, as semi-transparent sword beam shot towards the ceiling of the narrow gap.

Bang! The rocky ceiling was instantly destroyed by a mighty sword beam causing a mass of rocks to fall covering up the narrow passageway.

Whoosh! Not wasting any time, the figure of Feng Yu continued to swiftly escape it through the extremely narrow gap at high speeds despite his cultivation essence issues. He glanced at dusty scenery behind him while running as he thought to himself, "I just have to survive for a few moments of time, that way this so-called adaption phase will pass giving me the ability to quickly get out of here with my <Lightning Flash Steps>."

It was a good line of thought, but reality had different plans.

"Human! Die!" An earth-shaking roar soon echoed throughout the hollow and narrow passage as a massive boom shortly after followed.

Boom! A dominant force instantly destroyed the clusters of rocks that blocked the entrance of the narrow passage.

If one looked carefully towards the entrance of the narrow passage, they would now see that beyond the clouds of dust was the towering figure of the Orckusfiend who stood directly before the entrance of the narrow pathway.

It placed both of its hands onto the narrow walls gripping its fingers deep into its surface as it started to push them apart and roared in a barbaric manner, "Urrooooogh!"

Rumble! The narrow path that trailed towards a relatively distant section of the gloomy forest soon started to shake, as the terrifying force behind the Orckusfiend's strength was causing the passage to widen bit by bit. noveltranslationweb.blogspot.com

As the narrow passageway extended, chunks of large rocks then began to fall towards the ground creating an apocalyptic scene.

However, these weren't the only danger.

The Ghoulfiends that had been on standby due to the previous collapse now had clear room to maneuver. Quickly, they rushed through the now widening passageway as they continued their pursuit of Feng Yu while skilfully avoiding the falling rocks.

Soon after vanishing within the darkness...

******

It was a terrible but also marvelous scene, as a ray of sword light would beam its way towards the depts of a dark pathway leaving behind a lingering trail of glowing light the illuminated its previous surroundings. A myriad of broken rocks would fall from the crumbling surroundings threatening to crush anything that came in their path as the narrow path visibly lengthened by the seconds.

However, the ray of sword light would swiftly make its way directly through the falling boulders leaving behind smoothly cut surfaces on the split wreckages.

Not far back, were a group vaguely visible fellows, each whom could hardly be noticed due to their figures merging whole with the darkness leaving only their bright red eyes to illuminate their trails.

Sou! Sou! Sou!

As these figures moved, a trail of two red lights would follow behind them as they swiftly made their way around the falling boulders with some even going as far as to break through the rocks with brute force quickly gaining on the ray of sword light before them.

Feng Yu noticing the situation frowned, his figure shrouded by his half-step sword intent started to slow down as he cursed inwardly, "Damn! Why do I always have such terrible luck with Mystic Realms? I cannot maintain this state for long periods not without essence energy. I have to slow them down while moving forwards before my half step sword intent fades!"

He firmly gripped Black-lightning as he was prepared to remove his sword intent being used to flee and use it once more to cause collapse. The nearing Ghoulfiends seeing his actions sneered as they pushed forward with even more speed becoming ghostly shades.

However, right before Feng Yu could launch his attack. The world itself had a change.

The Orckusfiend who was busy pushing apart the passageway so more and more Ghoulfiends could chase after Feng Yu became shocked as it felt this change.

It looked towards the sky and roar in anger, "Damn! Why now--?" But before it could finish its words, it quickly became frozen.

The world stood still as everyone, and everything had stopped moving. A sound that only Feng Yu and all the other outside practitioners could hear resounded inside of their minds.

"Body Adaption Phase: 99.9%."

"Body Adaption Phase: 100%."

"Body Adaption Phase: Complete!"

As Feng Yu and the others heard this, they were surprised. However, as they could not move, they could only express it in their minds. Soon though, the situation once more had another change.

Rumble! The world of the Ancient Dragon Battlefield shook violently as a bright golden light shrouded the entirety of its skies, a gentle, but indifferent female voice echoed throughout heavens sounding within minds of all creatures and humans.

"The Adaption Phase has now ended, the battlefields 10000th War Commands will now commence!"

As they heard the voice, the individuals couldn't help but grow excited as their heroic spirits rose to its peak. Feng Yu who was currently in a desperate situation also started to get excited as he noticed some very peculiar changes within his body.

However, while all of this was occurring, in a distant location far away from the golden light that shrouds all or rather, 'most' of the Ancient Dragon Battlefield was a dark grotto. It was as if this place was a shield from all source light, leaving behind only dense assortments of shadows that formed from the rays that shone across the distant horizon.

One shadow was quite strange, as it stood quietly within a sea of surrounding shadows and looked towards the location of the light sources with an expression that shrouded by the shadows. It spoke, "It is this place destinies heir will rise, and the following rule of shadows will forever reign supreme..."

As it finished its statement, its eyes glowed in a dark light as its entire being gave a strange fluctuation. This pressure was not Aura, and neither was this energy Qi. It was merely a power belonging to an entirely different level of lifeform, but one, that will never again be seen in this world...
Dual Sword God

Dual Sword God - Chapter 79: An Unknown Party? The Alarmed Zone Commanders!

The Ancient Dragon Battlefield, an unusual realm situated within an enclosed space for many eons. It is a bizarre world filled with the thick scent of death that lingered at each of its distant corners.

This realm is divided into an assortment of layers, each of which was categorized by their degree of hazards. These layers are:

The Outer Regions, the Interior Regions, and the Central Regions...

Within each region were a group of occupied territories called 'Zones,' these Zones were each under the leadership of a very powerful fiendkin who typically had a powerful troop of fiends under their command. They are known as 'Zone Commanders,' each having a specialty or unique trait of their own making them terrifying opponents to face not only in one to one battle but also on the battlefield.

However, apart from these zones within each of the layers, there were also a few mysterious and unusual places each with a secret of their own.

******

Area unknown, Zone unknown.

The sky looked bright as a graceful golden light shone across the horizon, dying the world with its hue.

Blanketed by these rays of light, was a seemingly endless mountain range. A divine place filled with an array of unusual sightings along with a myriad of wonderous constructs crafted by nature. These mountains were uncommon as they floated in mid-air, they gave off a holy aura the kind that would only be found in religious sects, as elaborate carvings could also be seen engraved on their surface.

Looking at the surroundings, one would see that amidst this sea of unusual mountains were floating land masses, each of them being hundreds of thousands of kilometers wide. They were connected to each other by rays of light that beamed between the sea of floating mountains falling on top of a profound looking formation on a section of each of their lands.

If one looked bellow these land masses, they would see a lake, a vast clear lake that spanned across the entire horizon. This lake was strange, as despite being clear its depths could not be seen. Instead, only a few clusters of sparkling lights could be seen shining brightly ever so often at its core.

Standing proudly on the surface of these lands where an assortment of different buildings, each constructed with a unique style. These buildings were built like towers, each being at a height no lower than a kilometer. A collection of circular rings surrounded these tower-like buildings each giving off an odd pulsation of energies sending ripples throughout the land.

Carefully looking, one would see troops of well-equipped humanoid and non-humanoid forms each giving off a dense baleful aura, they stood in well-trained formations around tower-like buildings positioned at the core of these landmasses. At the central location of each of these floating mountains and lands, was an even larger floating landmass that spanned a width of no less than one million kilometers.

However, unlike its successors, this massive land mass did not have any glorious looking troops and a large number of buildings. Instead, positioned at its core was only a single tower that stretched to limits of this realm's sky, seated in front of this tower was an unknown being that was as large as most of the land itself. It was equipped with unique armor as it sat while gazing towards the brilliant light shining from the distant horizon. A bright ray shone at the depths of its eyes as if it could see the end of the world...

Inside of the central landmass tower, within a huge and spacious room.

A beautiful figure of a woman could be seen seated on top of a large golden throne. If one were to describe her beauty with words it would do no service as this kind of beauty needs no words. It was a pity however, for this unparallel beautiful woman currently had a sad expression her face, as she looked towards the massive window at the edge of the room gazing at the same location as the being outside of the tower.

Bellow this beauty was a group of powerful looking individuals each of whom bowed their heads in silence as the beauty remained in her state of thought.

"So, once again it has begun. Sigh, how long must I continue to wait for these cycles to finish? How long must I, drown in this sea of endless remorse?" Thought the beautiful figure, as her eyes glowed with a sad reminiscent light.

Quickly though, she recovered from her current mood and removed her gaze from the horizon focusing on the group that remained silent before her. With a sharp and cold look on her face, her lips parted as she spoke, "Make the preparations, this era's trials will now commence!"

"By the Queen's will!" The group of individuals replied, as they then tap their feet onto the floor which created an odd pulsation for a short moment of time.

Swiii! With a flash of bright golden light, the figures then vanished as if they didn't exist, to begin with, the beautiful woman seeing this looked on indifferently for a short while before closing her eyes.

However, the very moment she closed her eyes her beautiful nose couldn't help but twitch slightly, with a puzzled expression she opened her eyes.

Sniff. Sniff. After taking two more whiffs, she knitted her brows as she looked towards a different location across this endless horizon and spoke softly, "How strange... this 'scent,' it's been too long since I've smelled this fragrance, but why? Why is the scent of a Dragonkin still in this world?"

As she spoke, her voice trailed off into the wind traveling across the endless horizon as if seeking the source of her concerns.

******

Zap! The rumbling sound of thunder echoed throughout the world, as a dark looking palace stood aloof at the peak of a narrow mountain.

Chaaaaaaa! As the harsh rains continued to fall upon the lands, this palace remained steady unphased by the pouring rain. If one looked carefully, they would see a transparent dome of water the covered the castle entirety. This water dome was almost invisible due to its thinness; however, despite this weak looking appearance, it was quite the force to be reckoned with.

"Kaaaaaah!" Following a loud cry, a fierce bird the likes of which had never been seen by the eyes of common man descended with full momentum towards this dark palace at the peak of the mountains. It was a large dark crow with a purple crown on its head, with an enormous wingspan of 500 meters.

As they saw this crow descend, a look of surprise came over the face of the fiend guards. However, their look of shock soon became that of a sneer. Seeing their expressions, a cold purple light shone at the depths of crow's eyes; it promptly stretched its claws out towards the dark palace.

Swoosh! The harsh rain could not block these winds, as a fierce gale formed due to its rapid assault.

BOOM! The water-like dome quickly acted by forcing a series of blue layers to resist the claws, as they both collided a loud explosion soon followed, where after a terrifying shock spread across the region for hundreds of meters.

The harsh rain that fell upon the land was instantly calmed as the shockwave temporarily pushed aside the rain.

Swoosh--Bang! "Kaaaah!" The mournful cry of crow resounded throughout the region as it was blown away through the air, soon after crashing into a distant mountain. It looked at the dark palace with a hateful but now cautious expression, as it flapped its injured wings and circled the ruined mountain.

"Haha! When will the Sky Zone Commander learn, sending an Empyrean Dark Crow will not be enough to probe our barriers true strength. Tsk-tsk! A pity, if it had attacked the core we'd be eating a new feast today," A strange looking blue-skinned humanoid said, he was dressed in full plated dark armor that had sizeable spiky shoulder pads. He also wore a blue helmet which had two horns protruding from its sides.

Another similarly looking figure hearing his comrade's words also spoke, "Em. But, it's not like we haven't had anything good to eat recently."

The previously speaking fiend guard replied, "Bah! Like I even give a damn about food. I'm booored! Guarding this place yields no merits and all those guys on the frontlines are their hogging away all those points."

"Quiet!" A voice said as if it controlled the forces in the world a heavy pressure soon fell upon the two guards.

"Leader, please forgive this one's indiscretion!" Both guards replied as they promptly kneeled to the ground and begged for forgiveness.

The guard leader hearing this frowned for a moment before waving his hand, as they saw this, the two guards quickly got up and returned to their stations. The guard leader then looked towards the palace behind him and spoke mockingly, "Hmph! These two fools only talk about opportunities but have no idea about how battlefield truly is..."

As he said this, he couldn't help but shake his head as he continued to patrol the area.

Inside of the dark palace, within its central room.

In sharp contrast to its outside, the interior of this room was resplendent. A variety of large blue crystals surrounded the area, with walls that were made of unknown refractive materials as a clean, brilliant blue hue covered all corners of this room.

A group of blue-skinned individuals wearing various types of powerful looking equipment stood calmly around a large ball of water. This ball was strange as it acted as if it had a life of its own, rotating in a clockwise manner as it would occasionally release a few orbs of water. These orbs would then travel to the ears of everyone where after transforming into faces that whispered to the ears.

After these faces made of water finished their words, they then traveled back to the water ball and merged with its whole. The seated individuals now looked at each other with a variety of expressions; a few had looks of excitement while a few others revealed calm, pensive expressions.

"Speak!" A voice that reverberated throughout the room said, as the individuals heard it they became solemn. They looked towards a nearby water fountain positioned at the middle wall of the room, it was a large fountain more than fifty meters wide and ten meters tall.

A pair of dark blue arms with strange markings could be seen around its edges as the back of a figure could be noticed, he calmly rested inside of this water fountain as if it were a 'bathtub.' As his long cyan-blue hair fell down the edges of the fountain reaching all the way to the shining floor.

"Yes, lord Rain Commander!" A trembling replied, as he promptly walked over and bowed before the figure lying in the water fountain.

"We have received reports on from multiple pawns in our lower layered frontlines," The subordinate said hastily.

"And?" The Rain Commander said once more with a tone of impatience, his finger gently tapped the corner of the fountain making 'tap' noises.

"Ah... ah, there is also a peculiar rumor going around, one that I think the lord will be pleased to h----" As he was speaking in a mumbling manner, he was soon cut off by a sudden action.

BANG! The speaking subordinate was promptly blown to pieces as his blue blood stained the beautiful glossy floor and his surroundings, the observing individuals seated in their chairs also started trembling as they looked at the corpse of their comrade.

Crack! "Speak clearly!" The Rain Commander impatient said again, as he gripped the edges the water fountain causing a few cracks to appear on its surface.

"Replying to lord Rain Commander! We have received reports of there being sightings of humans in the lower layers, particularly the Interior Regions and Outer Regions," A prominent female subordinate said, as she swiftly appeared bowed politely.

"Hmm, well now... this is the quite interesting news. So, it's that time again I presume. After so long, we will finally be able to leave this wretched place." As the Rain Commander in the fountain though to here, he waved his finger towards the ball of water at the center of the subordinates.

BANG! A commanding presence soon filled the area as a set of blue battle armor flew out towards the figure lying in the fountain, as if its presence alone is enough to describe its wonders. It mysteriously fused with the body of Rain Commander covering his entirety, leaving only his long cyan-blue hair and dazzlingly fiendish blue eyes for the world to view.

He then slowly stood up with his tall figure soon eclipsing the height of the water fountain and moved his feet to the shining floor underneath, calmly stepping down the fountain.

Instantly, a terrifying aura soon after shrouded the world as the rain in a thousand kilometers started to flow towards the dark palace, or rather, the Rain Commander who stood within the dark palace.

"All hail the Rain Commander!" The prominent subordinates said in unison as they bowed politely upon seeing the Rain Commander equip his combat arms. The look of fear in their eyes was now replaced with a look of excitement as they could tell what was going to happen next.

Looking at his minions, the Rain Commander smirked as he spoke in a loud and powerful voice, "All Generals will heed my command! We will make haste to the 'center of all zones,' as the time for this 'Cycle's Zone Conference,' will soon be at hand."

"Yes, lord Rain Commander!" The prominent subordinates replied in unison as they promptly made their way outside of the central room.

The Rain Commander who stood proudly with his armor then looked outside of palace rooms window, gazing through the cloudy and thunderous skies as he spoke to himself, "It seems like our monotonous days are about to liven up..."

At the pinnacle of the skies, a region filled with endless white clouds.

Grew a large group of tall trees, each tree was almost 'limitlessly' tall as their lower trunks could no longer be seen blanketed by the sea of clouds. If one carefully looked, they would see a bunch of nests built on top of multiple large branches.

These nests were huge as the smallest of them were no lesser than 50 meters. A few odd-looking buildings where built on top of these nests each looking as if they were constructed by large twigs.

In front of these buildings, within an enclosed patch laid a group massive eggs each emitting a dark nefarious aura. A group of ferocious looking birdmen dressed in dark-feather armor stood around these eggs at various positions within the tree nests; they sharply gazed around the environment with their keen eyes as their armors gleamed with a sharp baleful light.

Swoosh! A cool breeze blew at this distance, filling the area with an atmosphere of freedom and looseness. However, at the summit of these trees, a feeling of oppression could be felt.

It was a large and stunning construct whose architecture though crude, exceeded the likes of any which could be built by man. An unknown metal or rather, a crystal object that gleamed like metal was stacked together in a manner like that of twigs in a birds nest. With a width of no less than 1 kilometer, a stream of runes could be seen trailing from the center of this crystal-like 'nest' all the way to its edges. Each rune glowed with a neon-like light, further adding to the mystery of this construct.

A collection of odd-looking chairs, with the shape like that of eggshells, were placed around at specific locations each with a terminal-like pillar protruding from the floor in-front them.

A few elder birdmen could be seen inspecting the information shown on these 'terminals.' At the center of these groups where another set of chairs, however, these chairs were arranged around a single larger chair.

A group of intimidating-looking birdmen each with a dark aura flowing from their bodies sat on these chairs, as they calmly looked at the figure seated at the central position. It was a large birdman, one that carried with it a dark but noble presence filled with arrogance as well as dignity, he was garbed in an unusual looking dark-feather armor with his beak facing the peak of the sky, and his eyes closed in a relaxed manner as if everything bellow was not worth seeing.

Suddenly, his large eyes opened as he gazed towards a distant part of the cloudy sky and spoke, "Oh, my crow was injured this makes another attempt another failure. Hmph! Reinz, your barrier won't last forever!"

As he said this, he couldn't help but look towards his subordinates as he was about to prepare a new command. However, before he could speak a small hawk flew from the distance and landed on his shoulders. The hawk's eyes gleamed with intelligence as it opened its beck releasing a melodious sound that traveling to the ears of the large birdman.

Upon translating the words, the large birdman frowned before smiling. He patted the head of the hawk while speaking to his surrounding subordinates, "Good, very good! Humans in the Ancient Dragon Battlefield? Hahaha! I haven't been this excited in a long, long time. Men of skies, prepare! For we shall immediately head to the 'center of all zones' then straight to our destined battlefields!"

"Glory to Sky Commander!" The birdmen shouted with excitement as stood on their claw-like feet and soared to skies excitedly, their feather falling about the area creating a glorious scene.

A dark, chilly wind blew in this area, as a cloudy atmosphere lingered throughout its fields. It was a mysterious land filled with dead meadows, an endless assortment of graves filling one's sight as far as one could see, and infinite graveyard too nefarious for any forms of life to be...

However, there are a few strange entities that could be seen wandering in this area.

A group of green, dark blue and other ominous looking balls of light patrolled about these lands. As if attracted to the gloomy atmosphere and skeletons resting peacefully at the gravestones. One of these balls of light quickly flew into one of these skeletons soon after causing the empty eyes sockets of the skeleton to light up in an ominous hue; the skeleton then stood up as it assorted its armor and looked towards the endless sea of graves.

"Jie Jie Jie! It'sss ssssooo dull here, I sssshould travel to the lower battlefieldssss and see what'ssss happening there..." As it said this, the skeleton was about to make its way out of graveyard but was suddenly disturbed by a sprite.

Swish! A beam of light quickly traveled from the distance making its way towards the center of these endless fields of graves, as the skeleton saw this it continued help but revealed a 'stunned' light from its empty sockets as it looked towards the central location.

Resting quietly in the central area, was a vast Necropolis filled with a variety of unusual looking tombs each arranged peculiarly. They were surrounded by many large tombstones with the biggest tomb that resting at their center, surrounded by unique looking monuments.

This place was 'dead' the very definition of true stillness which in most cultures signify 'the end.' A pity however, some beings didn't take this analogy well.

Bang! Following a loud sound, the massive tomb at the central area shook as its stone entrance cover was pushed away by some unknown force revealing a dark passageway.

Step. Step. Step. A series of slowly but heart shaking footsteps soon echoed throughout this quiet Necropolis, as the footsteps grew louder a figure could barely be noticed making its way out of the tomb slowly. Soon, this figure arrived at the tombs exit and looked around at the environment in silence.

It was a corpse, one of an unusual kind. Its skin was transparent leaving its interior clear enough for all to see, however, these internals where not of the kind ordinary lifeforms would see. As a colorful network of interconnected purple lights gathered around a central core. It was an ethereal-like being with its form vaguely real, with eyes of a blue-purplish color that glowed in a bright ominous manner.

It swept across its naked body and shouted towards the void, "Ar----mo----ur!"

The voice of this being resounded throughout the quiet area, followed by a loud booming sound.

Poof! Quickly a semi-transparent armor materialled out of thin air; it equipped itself around the body of the figure in a swift manner as a dark cloak formed from its back and wrapped around the figure creating a dark silhouette with ominous eyes and shining under equipment.

The figure smiled as it saw its complete form and then moved its foot forwards placing it on the ground outside of its tomb.

Step. Rumble! The instant its feet touched the ground, all of the still tombs and tombstones suddenly started to shake violently as beams of green, dark blue and other ominous looking lights illuminated the Necropolis surroundings. Very shortly, a group of similar looking corpses made an appearance each equipping different standards of armors as they then bowed towards the figure at the central area.

"We greet lord Ghosssst Commander!" Their voices echoed throughout the silent surroundings as they spoke in unison.

"I have recently sssssensed the presence of a greater elder among our kinsssssman, but it was of a vague nature. Where are our sssssprites? Summon them at once! For I require an update of our sssssssurroundings," The Ghost Commander said then ordered.

"As the Ghost Commander wishes!" A silhouette said who was amongst the subordinates garbed with unusual robes, but as he was about to use his special means. A beam of light swiftly made its way from the distance and appeared before the gathered individuals.

Poof! An evil looking sprite appeared, revealing a vile kind of aura. However, despite its dark nature. Its face was filled with solemnness while at its depths it hid a tinge of excitement. Quickly, it flew towards the Ghost Commander's side and spoke in whispers.

As the Ghost Commander heard its words, his ominously looking eyes flickered for an instant soon after glowing in a more vibrant light. The Ghost Commander lift his head up and laughed before speaking, "Jie Jie Jie! The time for our Ghossssstkin to rise has come, the ssssshadow rises from the cornersssss of all light. Using the darknessssss, we shall sweep over enemiessssss and use their corpses as fuel for our campaign!"

"Glory to our kinsssssmen!" The group shouted in unison, as they raised their weapons to air they glowed in an ominous light that painted the area in their hues.

"Prepare at once, for we must head to 'center of all zones!'" The Ghost Commander said his voice echoed throughout the distance of this dark, gloomy region...

The Legend of Futian - Chapter 155: Do You Have a Death Wish?

Seeing that almost everyone was looking at herself, Ruo Yu immediately felt a great wave of pressure. Her eyes drifted over to Ye Futian but she instantly withdrew her gaze. If she told the truth, it was bound to bring him trouble. She was in her own clan. The Sword Clan of the Qianmeng area was a great power and not many people dared to start trouble with them.

"I don't know either. I was just suddenly enlightened," said Ruo Yu in a low voice.

Ruo Qiu looked at Ruo Yu strangely. Enlightened? As twins, Ruo Qiu was very clear about Ruo Yu's abilities. How would she be suddenly enlightened? However, Ruo Yu was by her side the whole time and did not come into contact with anyone else. Other than enlightenment, there was no other explanation.

Lin Yueyao looked over at Ruo Yu and then back at Ye Futian. Could it be that she was able taught by the sound of Ye Futian's guqin?

"It is a good thing to get such a rare opportunity," said Yun Qianmo. She did not question Ruo Yu any further. If Ruo Yu did, in fact, know the secret to deciphering the meaning behind the stone walls, this was not the place to question her.

Yun Qianmo glanced at Liu Yuan, having no intentions to continue their fight. Her attention shifted back to the sword wall. Even Ruo Yu had been enlightened. Yet she had achieved nothing.

Yan Lu and the others all had strange looks on their faces as they continued their cultivation.

"You know, you guys should actually reconsider what Ye Futian said earlier," Ruo Yu mumbled lowly. Ruo Qiu and the rest of their group furrowed their brows and all turned their attention to Ye Futian.

At that same moment, Ye Futian had descended from the large boulder in front of the stone wall and was headed their way. Yu Sheng and the Black Wind Eagle were also by his side. They had both already been enlightened on the true meanings behind the images on the walls with the help of Ye Futian.

"Hello, my little friend." Gu Jiang smiled at Ye Futian. "Done with all four walls?"

"Yeah," Ye Futian nodded with a smile on his face.

Seeing that Ye Futian had actually nodded, Gu Jiang could not help but let out a look of interest. This guy is really thick-skinned!

"How much information did you get?" Gu Jiang continued to ask.

"A little bit from each of the walls, I guess," Ye Futian answered nonchalantly. He looked at Ruo Yu and said, "Ruo Yu, I'm heading back first. Good luck with your cultivation."

"I'm done as well. I'll head back with you," she said as she stepped up closer to him. Ye Futian transferred the knowledge of the sword techniques to her today. It was definitely a great favor.

This guy. Not far away, Lin Yueyao watched this scene and everything was now crystal clear. Ruo Yu was indeed taught by Ye Futian.

Ruo Qiu frowned at her sister's words. Had her younger sister gone crazy?

"Have you had enough?" Ruo Qiu asked Ye Futian coldly. He looked at her with no words to say. How did I piss her off now?

"Sis, what are you doing?" Ruo Yu was angry with the way her older sister acted.

Ruo Qiu looked at Ruo Yu and said, "Did he really put some spell over you? I just want you to see how fake he really is."

"Ye Futian, since you said that you were enlightened by the stone walls, all we have to do in order to know if you're telling the truth is to fight. Gu Jiang, give it a go," said Ruo Qiu.

Gu Jiang chuckled with his reply, "Alright."

"I also want to know what type of enlightenment you had, my little friend," Gu Jiang smiled at Ye Futian.

"What's going on?" Lin Yueyao saw what was going on and asked Ye Wuchen who was standing beside her.

Ye Wuchen could not hold in his smile. He said some things to Lin Yueyao and after she heard what he had to say, a strange expression crossed her face. She looked at Ruo Qiu and busted out in laughter.

Lin Yueyao looked at Ye Futian. Who would've thought this day would come for that rascal?

Ye Futian glanced at Gu Jiang and then at Ruo Qiu. A smile spread across his face before that word slipped out of his mouth, "Idiots." He turned around and walked towards Ye Wuchen.

Gu Jiang frowned. Ruo Qiu had an icy look in her eyes. Did Ye Futian just call them idiots? A sharp ray of sword intent released from Gu Jiang as he took one step in Ye Futian's direction. With the sword intent revolving his body, he warned Ye Futian, "Watch out, my little friend." He finished what he had to say, and released his sword techniques. At the same time, a black shadow whisked by at an unbelievable speed. It was a demon beast. Maybe a roc?

"Huh?" Ruo Qiu and her friends furrowed their brows in confusion. A storm seemed to have started in the area around them. Gu Jiang hadn't even released his sword when the shadow descended from the sky with its claws charging straight down. It struck Gu Jiang in the chest, propelling him backward. He now had blood streaming down the front of his chest.

WHOOSH! A strong wind blew past and the shadow of the roc had returned. It floated in the air behind Ye Futian. It was a demon beast alright, but it was not a roc. It was a Black Wind Eagle.

"The artistic conception of the stone wall." The members of the Sword Clan lifted their heads to look at the wall where Liu Yuan was. The image of a large Golden Roc. The beast behind Ye Futian had released that artistic conception! How could an ordinary Black Wind Eagle have such an understanding?

"Gu Jiang." Gu Cheng and the others walked over next to Gu Jiang. He climbed up from the ground and looked at Ye Futian's silhouette with cold eyes.

"This Black Wind Eagle is strange. It has such strong comprehension skills to understand the artistic conception," said Gu Jiang. Yan Lu nodded in agreement. He had also noticed this fact.

The group headed towards Ye Futian.

Ruo Yu did not look too good in this current situation. Are the members of the Sword Clan going to start a conflict with Ye Futian?

They watched as Ye Futian stopped in place. He did not spare them a glance, but instead, looked at Ye Wuchen and asked, "Together?"

"Sure," Ye Wuchen nodded. He was obviously not going to turn down Ye Futian's invitation. He was also thinking the same thing.

"Hey, I heard someone have you the cold shoulder." Lin Yueyao chuckled at Ye Futian.

"Taking pleasure in my misfortune?" Ye Futian smiled at her.

"Is it her?" Lin Yueyao looked at Ruo Qiu.

Ruo Qiu saw Lin Yueyao looking over and frowned. What does she mean?

"Since when has your taste gotten so bad?" Lin Yueyao teased. She had finally gotten her revenge. This rascal is always ignoring me. Now he'll know what it's like to get the cold shoulder.

The group of Sword Clan members witnessed everything. Was she insulting Ruo Qiu? However, in comparison to this girl in front of them, Ruo Qiu's looks were a far cry from her beauty.

"Is it funny?" Ye Futian never thought Lin Yueyao had this side to her. It seemed like this girl had held quite a grudge.

"It's pretty funny." She nodded seriously. She then asked, "Can you bring me along too?"

Ye Futian looked at her with a strange look in his eyes. What goes on in this girl's brain?

To be honest, the Lin Yueyao before would have never made such a request, but seeing Ye Futian help Ye Wuchen become enlightened with his guqin, and even a girl he met in the Ancient Barren World, it did not make her feel great. Did she really lack the appeal? She was always getting ignored by this jerk.

Seeing the look in Ye Futian's eyes, Lin Yueyao gave him a glare. "Don't worry. I know I'm not as pretty as your girlfriend. I won't have any crazy thoughts about you. I just want to train with you in the Ancient Barren World."

Ye Futian glanced at Ye Wuchen. Ye Wuchen said nothing and stared at him, almost as if he were saying, "Do what you want." Only then, did Ye Futian nod his head. "Fine."

"Can you not say it so reluctantly?" Lin Yueyao said as she bites her lip, upset.

Ye Futian shrugged, "Whatever."

"You..." Lin Yueyao did not know what to say to him. The anger on her face gave her a unique look. The Sword Clan members standing on the side were stupefied just looking at her. Ruo Qiu was also frozen. A strange expression fell on the faces of Yan Lu and his group.

Ye Futian did not seem to give a crap about Lin Yueyao's looks. It also seemed like this beautiful girl had been previously rejected by Ye Futian. She even said that Ye Futian's girlfriend was more beautiful than she was, and that she wouldn't have any crazy thoughts about him.

Would Ye Futian really try something with Ruo Qiu and her sister?

It was obvious now. Ruo Qiu was thinking too much. Especially when Lin Yueyao had looked at her with the smile that wasn't really a smile. Ruo Qiu felt insulted.

"Are you happy now?" Ruo Yu asked her sister. It was obvious that Ye Futian had no ulterior motives being with them. All he wanted were travel companions. He even taught her the sword technique from the stone wall.

"Ye Futian." Just then, Gu Cheng walked up and spoke to him with a cold demeanor. "How could you allow that demon beast to attack Gu Jiang?"

"Scram." Ye Futian gave him a quick, emotionless glance. He did not want to waste his breath on these people. If it weren't for Ruo Yu, he wouldn't have bothered to say a single word to these people after the inn incident.

At the sight of how arrogant Ye Futian was acting, the Sword Clan members were enraged. Where did this Nine-star Glory Plane get such courage?

"That demon beast, leave it with us," said Wang Jue. He didn't want to discuss any further either. Stepping up, sword intent was released from his body. Feeling the power of the fourth level Dharma Plane, Ye Wuchen frowned. With one step forward, a strong force of sword will erupted from his body. In an instant, the whole area was enveloped by the powerful force. This force of will was like that of the sword wall. noveltranslationweb.blogspot.com

"Do you have a death wish?" asked Ye Wuchen. His tone was sharp like the blade of a sword. The will dominated Wang Jue. He was using the will of sword to repress Wang Jue'd sword intent.

Yan Lu and the others looked at Ye Wuchen in great shock. How was he also enlightened by the stonewall's sword will?

This attracted many people to look over. Yun Qianmo also made her way over.

Seeing that the conflict was growing, Ruo Yu grew worried.

"You have also been enlightened by the stonewall's sword will?" asked Yan Lu. In just one day, two people have been enlightened.

There was also the Black Wind Eagle. It was enlightened by the artistic conception hidden in the Golden Roc wall.

Yan Lu stepped forward and a stronger force of sword intent was release. The destructive power of the sixth level Dharma Plane rolled towards Ye Futian's group.

Everything that happened today could only be described as strange. Since things had already come to this, they could not let Ye Futian get away so easily. Yan Lu needed answers now.

Ye Futian felt Yan Lu's sword intent coming in their direction, as if he wanted to encapsulate them, forcing them to stay. Seems like I was being too nice.

Ye Futian's gaze sharpened and he looked over at Yan Lu to say, "Do you have a death wish?
